South Shore Fynn 5-Drawer Chest, Winter Oak

Purchased this for my Walk-in closet. Took me 2 hours to assemble by myself. Instructions were generally easy to understand; a few minor items were slightly confusing, but I was able to figure them out. It is made of particle board and veneer so don't expect high quality. However, it does look like high quality and so far it performs well. If you want high quality that will last for years then don't purchase particle board items, however, expect to pay upwards of $800 (on the cheap side). It's not in my budget so this is the next best thing, and it does last if well taken care of. I have a couple of items made of particle board and still looks good after 5 years of use. I wouldn't recommend using it in places with high humidity.Not sure if I like what they use for the bottom support, I rather it had legs, but it does support it well. My only other minor dislike is that the drawers are not as deep as I would've liked, and the bottom of the drawer will not support heavy items without sagging, but for cloth, it will hold well. One suggestion is to add a small wood or metal strip across the middle of the drawer below the bottom panel. That would greatly help with heavier items. Of course, don't put extremely heavy items and expect that it will withstand such weight. It's made for cloth, not for weights or the like.It did come with a few nicks and some stated that it came with a marker to paint over these, but either it was missing in my package or it didn't come with it. Not an issue as the nick is in the back and bottom.The grey oak veneer, which is the one I purchased, looks great. However, I wish the drawers were fully lined with the veneer, as it is, only the front and sides have the veneer but the back of the drawer is exposed particle board.I will give it good use. So far I'm happy with the purchase.

Me encanta mucho el diseño lo único es que no mide 45 contando la base que sirve como patas o soporte abajo mide 48 en total no 45 como dice la foto deberían especificar eso bien por lo demás está precioso.

The chest had quite a few nicks on it but didn’t fell like sending it back since we had it unboxed already n it would have been hard to put back in the box cause it was really damaged!! It would b nice to get some kind of discount!!! I touched up nicks with some black paint I had☹️

This isn’t solid wood furniture, but it goes together easily, is well packaged, works well and looks surprisingly nice. I’m impressed at the quality for the price. I’m confident my daughter will get many years of use out of those furniture set!

We didn’t want to sink a lot of money into furniture we’re only using for 3 years so this was perfect for our needs. We also purchased the matching dresser and bedside tables.It’s laminated partial board so it’s not built to last. But if you treat it gently you’ll definitely get your money worth out of it.I like the contemporary design. The drawers are good and roomy.Great for the price.

Pro.. looks good , clear instructions, good value, pretty sturdyCon..It does take about 3-4 hours to assemble. I did it alone. You need a sturdy 6-8" phillips screwdriver.

The only reason I didn’t give them five stars was because of the Knicks that did come on it which were tiny but still shouldn’t had none. They do include a pen which you can fix those next but it’s just a marker but still for all intents purposes that was actually pretty cool they did include it specially to match the color.I Was a little skeptical at first check my husband took a little bit more than normal to put it together since he was Watching a basketball game, but iInstructions are pretty clear.****If you have kids I suggest you do you secure it against the wall.**** Mine is on carpet and just for safety reasons being a mom I strongly suggest it . Cereal is sturdy strong the color is gorgeous I also purchased this in combination with Zenas need the upholstered platform bed In Navy, sturdy as Tech beautiful plush headboard wonderful choice for both pieces now waiting for nightstands and long dresser as well .

This is your typical pressed-board furniture with the twist-to-lock nuts.However, this seems to be better built than your typical furniture like this. The instructions were very clear and easy to read. All of the parts, pieces, screws, nuts, etc.. were packaged very well and it was easy to find what I needed. They also include a separate bag of spare parts, which was nice. The hardware for each drawer was individually packaged.The drawer slides are nice and smooth, and were easy to set into place.For pressed board furniture, I was impressed. Will this handle 4 or 5 house or apartment moves? Maybe. But if you're looking for something cheap that's well built, and will last with care, this is it. The packaging was nice and robust, and nothing was damaged in shipping. Overall, I'm very pleased for what this costs. If you're expecting high end furniture, you'll be very disappointed. If you set your expectations properly, you'll be very pleased.

dont buy this item it came all marked up and it has a smell to it,the smell is from the press wood they made it from i have the dresser,headboard,and end tables all have the same smell all came with deficits from shipping

It was easy to assemble and looks nice. As with most furniture of this class it's particle board with veneer over top, which I'm fine with. I'm not rough with furniture. Pretty much what I expected.The two things that are a let down are the drawer bottoms aren't much more than strong cardboard, not wood so you can't put anything heavy in. Secondly, the top board of the dresser has bowed in the middle and the the top drawer snags on it a little when I try to close it. I can still close it, just requires shifting it a bit. And no, there's nothing heavy on top. I was careful to put nothing more than a gopro or a ipad on it.
