Focused flavor
This has a solid, focused espresso flavor. The roast is moderately strong, somewhat nutty, low acidity. It does not overwhelm the pallete and would pair well with desserts

Excellent tasty coffee. Highly recommended it for a refreshing cup of coffee.

Good but has a burnt taste
This coffee has a very strong flavor. When I first brewed it, I got a little burnt taste and honestly I thought I messed up and over-extracted it. But after a couple cups I realized that’s just how this roast is. It’s that dark almost like a smoky profile; not actually burned. It’s a bit much straight black for me, but with some almond milk and monk fruit sugar it balances out really well. I also use it to make cafe de olla. The bitterness mellows and you still get that intense coffee kick. For $4 it’s a solid deal if you like your coffee strong. Also it does give me that energy I need in the morning. Just know going in that “strong” here means a slight burnt note too. Would buy again, just not for guests who want a light roast.

Solid, economical choice for morning espresso
Great value for a brick of ground espresso. Package seal kept the coffee aromatic and fresh until it got to me. Good strong flavor, works great for my stovetop moka pot

Este café ha superado mis expectativas por su frescura y equilibrado perfil de sabor. Desde el momento de abrir el empaque se nota un aroma intenso y envolvente que promete una taza de gran calidad. Tiene un tueste impecable que logra el balance ideal entre cuerpo y acidez, sin dejar un amargor residual molesto en el paladar. Resulta muy suave para tomar por las mañanas y se disfruta enormemente tanto solo como con un toque de leche. Es una excelente opción para los amantes del buen café que buscan una experiencia de sabor superior en su rutina diaria, por lo que lo recomiendo totalmente.

It's ok.
I'm a Cafe Bustello fan. Thought I would like this but it's just ok. Kind of bitter if you make it strong.
