When In Rome

My daughter is going this summer to Italy for a week so we watched this movie together. Super cute movie! and now she cant wait to go and see some of the spots in the movie that she will be at soon.

Light, happy, cute rom-com.

It's funny and goofy, and of course romantic. Yes a chick-flick. It's a distraction from an ugly world and fun to watch. I will watch it again in the future.

I really liked this movie years ago. Watched it again and was not as smitten with the story. It has it's moments and you will laugh, but it is not one of my go to chick flicks. The DVD quality is great. Not a cheap flimsy one so it has that going for it.

Got boring towards the end... It was okay. Funny at times, but annoyed over useless scenes.

As chick flicks go this one is more tolerable than most. There is a genuinely funny moment involving deliberate mistranslation but also the easily resolved problem made into a huge issue due to not having a simple conversation.

I ordered 3 dvds on Amazon and this title would not play in English on any of my 4 different devices. I returned it for a replacement dvd and it does the same thing 🤪 oh well.....when in Rome....

One of those ROMCOMS that may not be the best... However, being set in historic Rome and of course New York city; it's probably why it is such a charming movie. Kristen Bell solidifies her ability to bring life to a movie and Josh Duhamel has comedy chops. This is considered to be my comfort movie.

I bought this on the strength of seeing it advertised, and thought it could be a slightly more original take on the more traditional Rom Coms. After all, it looked great in the advert. Did it live to the expectations of the trailer, well quite frankly no. There were some funny moments, but nowhere near enough to make this a strong comedy. And for the romance side, I found this the weakest. At times a little 'cringe-worthy' to be honest. However, to give it a fair chance, I watched the movie through from start to finish. There are odd times which are quite moving but again not nearly enough to make this a very good film. This will never be a classic and the best I can say to prepare you for your viewing experience is, that it's okay and nothing more than that. An average film with no more than average entertainment value.

Nice little romcom with likeable actors. Some very funny moments such as 5 people in a tiny car driving straight into a building and into a lift. I can watch this over and over if I just want to relax and watch a film, I love romcoms anyway and this one has a nice feel to it and of course a happy ending

A really lovely girls night in with this film

One of my all time favourite movies, I bought it after it dropped down in price.I'd recommend to anyone that wants to watch a fun movie without getting bored or overthinking.
