I am in love with these. I have been struggling with how to appropriately illuminate my cabin and stumbled on these. I've set them up around the rooms and have the remote control just turn on a lovely ambience whenever I need light. They're not intense light for fine work - but they are sufficient for seeing around and basic (not close detailed) craft work. The flickering is also fun :)Something that is notable is that not all of the candles turn on when you use the remote - you have to use it a couple times. This is almost annoying when you point in multiple directions several times, but it is rather nice when you manually turn on the flickering because the lights won't be all creepily "flashing" - they'll flicker at varied intervals.

I was grateful to decorate my windows without fumbling with wires, extension cords and inconveniently placed electrical outlets. I was very happy with the glowing ambience of my windows as seen from the street.The box is smaller than I thought, but it can be neatly reclosed and is sturdy enough for storage. Some of the suction cups needed a lot of coaxing (warm water baths and forceful bending) to stay stuck on the cold windows, especially in the beginning. They stayed put better as time went on. You unscrew the light bulb and put a single AA battery in the candle stick, then screw the light bulb back on. Half the candles had no trouble lighting up and staying lit when moved around. The other half really needed some delicate finessing to get the battery contact just right to stay lit when jostled while being applied to the window. Based on other reviews, I knew to expect some troubles and didn’t get as frustrated as I normally would have. The candles stayed on the hooks on the suction cups well. I tried one candle in a clip base and it didn’t seem like a tight fit in the holder. It seemed too unbalanced and top heavy to stay securely clipped onto a tree branch. I didn’t actually use the clips. The candle brightness was much dimmer than electric candles. The quality of light was warm white (not gray or bluish, and not gold or orangey). I liked the 3 brightness settings and also the flicker option. The remote control worked well, just not through thick curtains. I really wanted to use the timer feature but I just couldn’t get it to work right. That was disappointing. I’ll try it again next year. I recommend this product with reservations. Make sure you also order a large pack of high quality AA batteries.

I was surprised according to the photo when putting it up for sale the candles reflect a larger size but for some reason the ones you get are very small I'm not very happy I thought they were going to be a little bit bigger than they are

We are enjoying the look of the candles in the windows.

So I thought we would have to turn on the lights each night and then they’d turn off after 6 hours. What I didn’t expect was that they turn on again to same time next day! So that’s probably the best thing about these candles. I had wanted some taller skinnier ones but anything taller the price increases a lot. So these are decent for the price range.I did end up using the tree clips on the windows instead of the suction cups. Even with a wee bit of moisture under the suction cup some failed and some held up. If the suction cup was bent then forget it! It’s not going to hold up. I don’t know if putting them in some hot water to try and get the original shape back?The remote range isn’t far so if you want a more synchronized turn of/off hope you have a small area or can run room to room fast! If you aren’t picky then it’s not a big deal. But if it were for a theatre production etc then the remote needs to be pretty close (actors pocket if it’s one candle). Honestly, anything like this just glad it actually works so my expectations were low so was really happy they all worked and timing feature is worth it.Just be careful if you jostle them while putting them up/moving them. Sometimes they just turn on. Maybe it’s a hidden feature to turn on by moving them?Overall pretty decent set of led candles minus some iffy suction cups!

When they work properly it does make the house look pretty from the road. This is why I gave it three stars. The problems we have with them, they turn on randomly or if you touch them or bump them at all. This makes the battery die faster because they come on during the day.A big issue, the suction cups are almost flat and most of them won’t stay on the window. I’ve tried everything. Mostly I have to wedge them between window pane and the blinds so they will stay in place, but I have to do this every evening because I open my blinds during the day and the candles fall back down. Every day. So it’s pretty tiring.I would not really recommend these candles, at least not until they fix these issues. Certainly not to spend $30 on them. I will probably also keep looking for a different set of candles that might be more convenient.

Just as described and a great deal. Perfect for decorating. Fyi they are not super long and they each require a AA battery
