On my off days, I take a serving mixed in warm water; it does not dissolve easily when using room temperature water. I make sure to drink lots of water since I started taking creatine. As of this writing, this will be the start of my fifth week taking creatine. I am not sure if it's a placebo effect, but on this day I find that I have more energy during my workout. I also find that I can add a rep or two to my regular sets. I also feel stronger with each exercise and find myself having energy in store at the latter stages. For whatever reason, I don't feel as tired as the weeks past. One effect that I noticed right away though was during the second to third week of taking creatine and regularly working out, my muscles felt a bit fuller, which was noticed by my family and friends.
