what is the height of the tee when inserted into the ground to the yellow band?

2 1/8" when inserted up to the yellow band. 1 5/8" when the yellow band is fully inserted.

I plan to use these in pegboard rather than for golf. Will they fit snugly in the holes of standard pegboard?

Sally, No, they are to thin. Even pushed in all the way, they still wiggle. Find a Tee with a 1/4 " diameter shaft. Hope this helps. Rich
