PERCOLATOR 8 CUP GLASS

I wanted this pot because my grandma had one for years and loved it. It makes great coffee and reminds me of my grandma every time I look at it. I only wish it had the glass handle like hers did.

It has been one year now since buying this percolator. Before purchasing, I spent weeks watching YouTube reviews of the top models from that year, struggling to decide. This indecision led me to reminisce about my first coffee experiences with a chrome percolator my mom received as a wedding gift in 1959 – and that was still functioning in 1981! While I wasn't looking for a retro, Jetsons-style percolator, I wanted something fast and functional. This led me to gamble on this modestly priced percolator – inexpensive, yet not lacking in quality. This percolator, crafted from durable, high-quality glass, has consistently provided me with the best coffee.

You have to be willing to spend a little time on filling the coffee pot, and later on cleaning it out, but the coffee tastes much better than most home-brew systems provide. This coffee has far more flavor and aroma than the weak brew produced by K-cup machines. As a committed organic composter, I find it much easier to empty the percolator's basket of used coffee grounds into my compost bin than to scrape out all those little K-cups. With this system, I no longer feel bad about used plastic K-cups clogging up our landfills. And I enjoy my coffee more. Even though it's decaf, it has great flavor.

This is my 3rd purchase of the same pot. This time I ordered 2. First purchase used for about a year, accidentally knocked it off the counter. It had a bent stem but we managed. Second time is still making great coffee, all through struggling with bent stem. So I have ordered 2 more. Let’s pray they have a better stem/basket so we can continue to enjoy this fabulous pot!

I read all the reviews and bought this percolator and I love it! I did some research on ways to make the coffee, after 3 or 4 trys, I have it exactly right for me. Slow and steady brew makes it worthwhile. It's a process i look forward to every morning. I recommend this coffee pot, 100 percent!

I just received this pot...The handle was completely broken off! I tried to return it to Amzon but was told since it was shipped directly from the seller I must return it there...Believe me I have been trying.

If someone is complaining about this item, they don’t know how to use it. It’s the closest I’ve ever come at home to an espresso like coffee. Absolutely fantastic. I was very worried to purchase this product with the negative reviews, so I took the chance that maybe some people were not being straight forward with how the actual product worked and how good a pot of coffee it actually makes. I followed the instruction to exactness, then I made adjustments on the next pot and have been throughly rewarded! I have a glass top Fridgadaire and I turn mine on 7, ( mine goes 1-8 with lo on one end and hi on the other), and it usually take 5 to 7 minutes to start perking and I let it go10 minutes afterwards. Now, this is NOT a coffee make for impatient, drip maker type people, so if your''re willing to wait about 17-20 minutes, I promice you will be rewarded with a super cup of full flavor and aroma. I alos have a warmer on my stove and move it there once the perculating time has completed. So, be patient, and the rewards are worth the wait. This is a very good product for the price and works just as good as others costing twice or even three times the amount!
