Product description ------------------- Measures: Ø wire: 4,5 mm, Øinside: 50mm, Ø outside: 59mm, length (not tightened): 428 mm. This alternative torsion spring made in Germany is made of high-quality spring steel wire in Germany. Alternative torsion springs are ed just like an original torsion spring from Hörmann. We recommend that you always exchange both torsion springs. Observe the instructions in the assembly instructions for the garage door. You take over your original Hörmann spring tensioning head and build it easily onto the new garage door spring. Remove the spring tensioning head from your defective torsion spring and pull out the spiral tension pin. This is how you detach the torsion spring from the clamping head. Now insert the original Hörmann torsion spring into the clamping head and push the spiral tension pin back in again. This connection has to hold well because the forces are transmitted through the spiral tension pin. The letter indicates the winding direction. Unfortunately, this letter has nothing to do with the installation site. This makes no difference in whether a torsion spring is ed on your right or left.
