Pull off the old ones with regular pliers. Be careful installing these and start it with the bolt in the up position, then lower it before adding more force. This way you won't break the mechanism or miss the pin. I tried installing the last one of four with the bolt in the down position, missed the bolt and could not retrieve the cover. So don't make the mistake I did!! I left the cover in the door and put the old bolt covers back on in the back seats bolts where they are not seen much, and am deciding whether or not to buy another set to replace the one I lost in the back seat..

Works great. Easy fit. Snap on and screw gently to desired height. Works great with the OE ring rims black plastic round the door pins on a BMW E36. OE fit with much improved looks

Beautifully made! The chrome tips really brighten up the door panels. Truth be told, I hardly ever see the carbon part, since the car is always locked, and it locks automatically as soon as I put the car in drive. But I know it's there, and I know how nice it is. Great little upgrade!

Fits great and looks great too. Great to replace lost stock just slide right on top filled with foam for a tight fit

These add a subtle touch of luxury to the rather ordinary OEM lock pin caps BMW puts in their cars. Just be careful while pulling out those OEM pin caps, they come off by pulling them out and they're super tight on the pin. I pulled one of my pins out of the door locking system. Had to take down the door panel to fix it. But it was all worthy, these caps are a nice detail.

Looks nice but doesn't my BMW e34. Need to be longer to look better.
