This is a great gift for a friend or relative who has just lost someone they love! You can put a picture of the loved one inside. I have mine hanging in my kitchen window where I see it every time I do dishes.

I was in love w/ this as a gift for my sister & a picture of our dad inside. The item I received has a bunch of scratches on the back & my best guess is dirty finger residue on the front silver parts. I attempted to clean it up w/ a jewelry cleaner & q-tip, but that didn't help. It looks like a used item & not in a condition for me to gift*edit to add - I returned it & received a replacement. It was in better shape, still a little discoloration on silver front & only a small scratch on back, but it is pretty & I wanted my sister to have an ornament with our dad this year. I won't be purchasing more from them & will instead look for a similar item for future gifts.

The front of the ornament is just like the one shown on Amazon. But the back where you can engrave it is very thin, and at first I wasn't sure it was even metal. It's mirror like metal, hence the reflection in the pic. I'll still use it, just thought the back would be the same finish as the front.

I lost my sister a few months ago and I wanted to do something special for my other 3 sisters and when I seen these ornaments I knew this is what I wanted so my sister's can see her photo daily not as a ornament but a hanging photo holder. They are perfect. I loved the box that they came in with a saying inside.. something extra special to me.FYI...You can use the photo inside the ornament to measure/guide for your photo. It's is made from thick paper so you can trace your photo to cut to the right size.

I am very happy with the size of the ornament especially the 2" picture space. The detail could be better as I ordered three and gave one to my sister who lost her best friend this year. Out of the three only one was perfect, which I gave as the gift. I kept the others and will be happy to use them because after looking at so many of them, this one is the only one that has a big picture area. You can actually enjoy the ornament from a distance on your tree because you can see the beautiful face of your loved one w/out straining eyes. After all, isn't this the point to be able to see them on the tree w/out them disappearing because the picture area is so small. I recommend you pay attention to the size of the picture when choosing you memorial ornament and you will find most of only 1". That makes this one the best in my opinion.

Delivery was quick and ornament is good quality. I am very pleased with this purchase, it is for a very dear friend who lost here husband.Would have loved an option to have it personalized.

I purchased this as a gift for my mom, my grandma had passed away in the fall and I gave it to her at Christmas with a picture of my grandma inside.I decided to purchase this ornament because the picture is bigger than most others that I saw. You can actually SEE my grandmas face and that is what makes this ornament so special. I highly recommend this ornament because there was nothing more comforting than seeing my grandmas face on my parents beautiful Christmas tree. I loved knowing she was with us and I enjoyed the little reminder on the tree.

I purchased 4 of these to gives as Christmas presents to family since we recently lost someone. Three of the four were perfect; the fourth was missing a stone and the words were hard to read on the far right side. Wish the seller had looked at it before shipping, but this close to Christmas I will just keep the defective one and give the others to family. Each ornament is heavy and you can add your own picture of a loved one. It comes with a ribbon to hang the ornament and a gift box. If ordering I just suggest checking it carefully, especially if it is a gift.
