It's high torque, works well
used these for a rail system and an arduino build that required a good 50lbs of lift across two motors. These don't disappoint. They can heat up, so I set the stay current to 50% and they still hold steady but stay cool. Good motor.

Great stepper!
This stepper motor performs very well for my application and exceeded my expectations. I'm using these in a milling cnc I'm building to drive the axis ball screws and have been able to achieve speeds in excess of 2200rpm which with a 5mm pitch screw, translates into 11,000mm/min or over 400IPM. Mass moved during these tests was 60lbs. Granted the torque at this speed is next to nothing for the given voltage but at least is an indicator of where the limitations are. Some details of the setup tested are listed below. Motor driver : M542T (4:1 Microstepping) Power supply: 48V/5A (set to 49.5v) Meanwell NDR series Ball Screw: unbranded - 1605, 700mm Length, BK mount supports, split clamping coupler. Ways: NSK 35mm Linear guides Ramp profile: trapezoidal curve at 600 mm/sec^2 While I haven't tested it but I believe the voltage limit for this motor calculates out to around 60v so one may be able to squeeze out a few hundred more rpm. Other comments: 1. Due to the large shaft size, the cheaper non-helical cut couplers are bulky and not balanced well. 2. Individual wire leads - most lower cost stepper motors are like this but I'd prefer them as a cable or even better, a fixed circular connector receptacle like a standard M12 connector.

quality
quality motors as always. i have used these to build two different plasma tables and replace motors on a third

Great value. Ok performance.
Nice motor for the money. Ezcnc builds professional cnc machines and primarily uses high end motors such as Oriental motor but from time to time we use these on "Z" axis. They have held up well. Construction and finish is nice. Wires are a bit on the low end and they don't hold up to heavy cycling. Rotor inertia is hign but expected on a low cost motor. I recommend them for light loads where torque doesn't go past 50%of rated. They fail fast when pushed. For higher applications, stick with the high end motors. For hobby stuff, these are great starter units.. only drawback is they are very rough even at high pulse rates with anti resonance drives.

strong motor
good strong motor for what i need it for and that's tumbling rocks, seems to do good with the weight so far

Drive motor for an electronic Target frame
Wanted to build an electronic turning target frame that runs off a Bullseye Match app on my iPhone/ iPad for practice for Bullseye/ Precision Pistol Matches. This motor provides the rotation. Works ok. Was hoping it would be enough to turn a 6# rotating assembly 90° in around 1 second. it is ok, not ideal. Not like I’d hoped anyway, but then it wasn’t manufactured with my application in mind. The current setup up is direct drive. I may machine myself some pulleys or sprockets and use some tearing or a transmission. Would buy again but I have no idea how they’d work for their intended use in cnc applications I’d rate it at 4 stars but it seems unfair given my “misuse” of the product.

Nice and powerful
For those confused, the seller-recommended driver (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B074TBMC7N) definitely works, even when powered by a 48V supply. Although V=IR implies that 48V should exceed the rated 4.2A at this motor's 0.9 Ohm impedance, the driver regulates the output so it's fine to use a driver like that even though the driver's power supply is a higher voltage than could be tolerated by the motor when connected directly.
