Where is the driver info? The vendor's page seems devoid of configuration information.
I downloaded the seeed-voicecard files but the mic still isn't showing up (arecord -l and aplay -l). how can i get the rpi 3 b+ to recognize the mic?
Does the 3.5mm Jack support microphone in as well as speaker out?
Does it need separate power it works with the Raspberry pi power itself?

After installing drivers the 3.5mm speaker output is set to 0%

First I thought the 3.5mm output wasn't working, but found that the volume is initially set to 0%. I'm running headless with Raspberry Pi OS 12 so I used command line wpctl status to identify the sink, then wpctl set-default and wpctl set-volume to raise the volume level. Hope this is helpful. Works great and the price is low so I ordered three of these hats. Excellent.

Works great

Not much to say here. Works as expected.

Perfect performance

Works perfectly with excellent reception of voice commands for my home assistant.

It does work but time consuming to set up.

Finally got some sound using the Adafruit audio bonnet instructions. Using pi zero 2w, bullseye 32 bit.Specifically used the HinTak drivers and I guess you need to git check out the correct version that matches your kernel version ( uname -r ). In my case it was v6.1.

Works but long setup and poor microphone quality

This is a decent product, but I think it has an array of issues. Setting this up on a Pi takes forever and it took me a few tries to install everything correctly. However, in the end I was successful with this task,I think the microphone quality on this product is pretty poor. I decided to stick to using a Bluetooth speaker to record sound instead, and had much better results for my voice assistant device.

It's working with a raspberrypi zero 2w

I bought this to attempt to create a locally functioning voice activated smart device using the Wyoming protocol with Home Assistant. It seems to be working. For the price, this hat is a good buy and functions as advertised on a raspberrypi zero 2w. Make sure you follow all the instructions for downloading and installing the drivers.

Works great

This has built in amp with speaker output (no speaker provided). The mic works great. I use it with SNIPS and get plenty of sound with a $6 speaker. The GROVE connectors are a definite plus. I use the I2c to control a servo board.

Nice but requires work

I got mine working but only after a lot of adjustments. They include instructions on installing the drivers, but the instructions only work if you are using specific kernels. I set up a cross compiler and was able to get the drivers installed using a hand-rolled kernel. I also ran into an issue that their suggestion for modifying the boot file didn't work if either of the lines being added already existed in the boot file but were commented out. (luckily I checked the file and saw one of the lines it was trying to add was already there and thus the script didn't try to add it -- but it was commented out so it wouldn't have worked)After setting up the self-compiled kernel and getting the drivers compiled and the boot files modified, it recognized the shield and the module loaded fine and works like a champ. Then I went to plug in a grove device. The so-called 'grove' connectors aren't. They are bigger, wider and the pins inside are wider spacing and bigger diameter. I had some pcb grove connectors on hand already so I pulled the pins out of the plastic housing, pulled the plastic part of the board's 'so-called grove' connectors off and used long nose pliers to carefully decrease the spacing in the existing pins then force shoved them through the holes on the back of an actual grove connector which seems to work with a little extra 'push' on the grove device's connector to get it onto the larger diameter pins.
