These are very strong. Good METAL buckles - great for large strong dogs! We ordered Large for our Mastiff/Dane Mix (130lbs) It fits her perfectly. The spikes do not bother her when she is laying down - I was worried about that. It keeps the dogs from biting each others necks when they play fight.

Great collar but hard to buckle and unbuckle. Our 2 puppies play pretty rough and have been biting each other's necks and causing some pretty big cuts I got them these in the hopes of deterring them from biting each others necks. Works well for that but they are pretty hard to put on and take off

Love it. We live in the woods so I wanted a well crafted thick and wide leather studded collar to protect my dogs neck. This was exactly that. And is truly standing the test of time. Especially for price. I assure anyone else going to buy this. That if that's what youre going for, it's this one.

This was a great looking collar till it ripped at the buckle seam. My dog isnt a puller so it was surprising it broke.

Purchased two, one for my bully mix (size small) and one for my pyr mix (size medium.) The sizing is a little weird… The S I had to punch an extra hole in, I should have gotten an XS for her but I wanted the studs to go all the way around. Medium was smaller than I expected it to be, I should have purchased a large for him but I’m less concerned about him getting hurt by another dog as he’s a big dude and he has a very thick, heavily fur padded neck. The spikes are SHARP. I will not let them rough house with each other with these on, they are definitely anti-bite. I have free roaming neighbor dogs, and random people… and I’m not confident about them staying out of my yard. I wanted something that looks scary but cute and will protect their necks if a dog or other animal were to try and bite them. I love the 2” band, it feels heavy duty and the d ring is solid. I won’t personally attach a leash to them, but I think you could if your dog isn’t a big puller. Recommend!

The collar isn’t even two weeks old, got it 7/23 and it’s now 8/2. The collar came, got, colors popping. That’s it, few day like 3-4, later I noticed few areas of the collar that’s started to peel. I thought it was from playing in the backyard and I didn’t see any issue with the few areas being around the spikes. The thought changed to “ This is the worst made collar Ive bought(15 of them before this) and the collar is destroyed pretty much, with the color and top layered all but peeled off the collar, spikes are where it’s still holding on for dear life. I don’t know how it’s possible for the collar to be sold as this isn’t something that’d be a good outcome if it were to break off due to this condition falling apart. The breeds advertised in details are pit bulls, the most commonly blamed dogs for everything. I own bullies and I got the collar for my littlest one the runt, however she’s Tony but mighty so if some reason she’s outside my yard, she’s for some reason in protect mode and that collar breaks: end of my dog’s life bc she’s a bully and she’s at fault no mater what. I depend on harnesses or collars to be durable at least if not a pretty asthetic and can not be using anything on my dogs which might or might not be dependable for their safety and mine.

This was great without being too big for my 90 lb, black, rough Collie.. feel much safer walking around other dogs as they would have a really hard time getting around it! The non sharp points was a better choice to avoid scratching our legs as she rubs up against us. Good looking without being too much of 'I got a tough looking dog' attitude. Just wish they came in Chihuahua size!! lol

Both of my girls look adorable with their fancy collars !! We always get compliments about them . I have to say I am very impressed with the quality , we live at the beach. so the girls are swimming with them on daily , they have yet to rust or get damaged in any way since we got them a month ago . 10/10 recommend

*UPDATE* It's been a few weeks now and collar is still good as new! I'm impressed so far. I think this is actually some sort of biothane material. Not leather. It has a thick paint job (can see a small drip on one small section of collar). The spikes are sturdy and definitely stand out and should definitely offer some protection for my girl from dog or coyote attacks. Coyotes have become braver around here recently. I just slip the collar on when I let her outside for her business late at night or early morning. Well made and sturdy. Probably a little over the top for my Smoothie, but it works!

I have absolutely nothing to complain about for this product. It is a great quality product and I'm glad that I returned the $50 spiked collar that I bought from a pet store and got this instead. My only complaint, which was mostly my fault, was buying a size large instead of a medium after reading reviews. I have an American Bulldog who is 8 months old, luckily he was able to fit with it when I cut one more hole into it and he still has some growing to do so it will fit him still in the future. I would recommend people with German shepherds, border collies etc to get the medium size. Those with bully breeds, mastiffs, or a Great Dane what do best with the large size.
