pristine conditions, fast delivery, took me back to my childhood.

I owned this game on PC soon after it came out, and believe me, there's not a more fun title out there if you love to revv around a city in a vintage 1970s car in the "Take a ride" mode. As for the story mode? Who knows -- the ability to just get right into it and drive like a madman while cops chase you was too fun, and I never touched the story mode of the game. Why would anyone?

I purchased this to play with my kids on our PS2. It was packaged well, arrived on time and in excellent condition, just as described by the seller. I couldn't wait to get my hands on Driver again. I had so much fun playing this when it first came out. My kids and I opened it and got to playing right away. My kids got a kick out of getting felonies and having the police chase them! They were laughing and having an absolute blast. I am a lover of all things nostalgic and this brought me right back to my childhood. This is forever an all time favorite of mine.

The first level of this game is too hard and unskippable, although the disc itself works.

One of the first driving games I played and fell in love with it almost immediately. The graphics is much more akin to that of a cartoon with enhanced layers. The story of the game is original that would eventually be carried over to the next two installments. Its gameplay is by far the first of its kind at the time of its release.

This is a fairly decent game that has aged very well. But the difficulty curve will turn anybody off no matter how much they enjoy the rest of the game. The first mission is a trial run that serves as a tutorial without actually telling you how to perform each of the desired moves AND you have to complete it in under a minute. I spent a solid 30+ minutes trying to accomplish this. Then the rest of the game is actually fairly easy.... until you get to the final mission. Seriously, I spent well over 8 hours worth of failed attempts on that last mission. It just hits you out of nowhere how difficult it is compared to the rest of the game. There's 0 preparation for it anywhere else. And before I get blamed for taking a star away for being inept at the game, a very quick internet search shows that a ton of players have the exact same complaint regarding this game. It's an almost universal sentiment that the game begins and ends with insanely difficult missions and takes a massive dip in difficulty for the body of the game.
