This mini circular saw was exactly what I needed to remove the front six inches of the bottom of the cabinet over our new refrigerator because its top hinge enclosures were 1/2 inch too high. I attached a strip of wood to the bottom of the cabinet to serve as a straight edge guide. Using the saw, I was able make a clean cut. I doubt that I would have been able to do that with a saber saw and certainly not with a hand saw. I expect to find the tool handy for other similar projects using the variety of blades provided. One issue to keep in mind is that the protective guide limits the maximum depth of the cut to only 3/8 inch.

I liked it but returned because my hands are small and even though the size of 10" long was convenient, the width was not ergonomically suitable for my hand and found it a little heavy for me to use. Was sorry to return it.

DO NOT BUY THIS!! I USED IT TO MAKE ONE CUT ON A SHEET OF DRYWALL THEN IT QUIT WORKING.

noisy like a jet engine that will prompt a neighbor complain. But cut smooth. Small tool therefore easy to navigate. Will hurt and pierce your ear for long term usage.

I used this to cut a corner out of a cabinet back. Very accurate cuts - straight and uniform depth. Easy to handle. The vacuum attachment works great!

I would have loved this but: I could not fit the wrench into the socket to even put the blade on, it was not made with tight precision lines. I even ordered a separate wrench but the design is so flawed that it didn't fit either the opening between the socket and the housing was too narrow. Returned. Maybe next year they will have fixed the issue..

A really good tool for small work, I used it to cut shallow kerfs in MDF to allow bending.Biggest problem I had was the metal base plate kept unclipping from the clear plastic base of the saw thus spoiling my depth setting.
