Clairol Root Touch-Up Temporary Spray, Black Hair Color, 2 Count

For the price you can't beat this! My favorite kind is over $20 a bottle, and since I work from home for the most part now, I couldn't justify the price anymore. My hair grows very fast, and I use this for about a week, so I can color my hair every 3 weeks instead of 2.You really do have to shake this for a while, and sometimes it seems like little color comes out. To me this is a plus because another brand I use squirts a huge burst of color on your hair and it stains your scalp and you have to go back with a q-tip and erase it from your scalp! This I can get right up to my root by scalp and spray. Yes I use a lot more, but for how cheap it is, is worth it for the extra time I don't waste. I have a lighter brown/blonde color in summer, and color my hair a more medium brown in the winter. The light brown color works fine for my hair.

During these uncertain sad times there will still be moments where we would like to look our best. If any of you remember "Bye, Bye Gray" you will love this product. Has the tiny direct spray nozzle. I have long hair and like most of us get those horrible gray "race tracks" on top. My stylist showed me the best way to apply. Wash your hair and let it DRY. Pull it back. Spray, spray. LOL Pulling it back gives you control as to what area you cover. And, it is a direct hit. After spraying the product, brush it through. Remember, this is temporary coverage but I have NOT seen any stains on clothes or pillow cases. Please stay safe.

I love this stuff! It’s a great cover-up for my roots in-between hair dyes. My hair is very fine and dry, and so I get split ends easily. So I prefer to dye it less often.What I like:It’s quick and easy. I simply hold my hand over my forehead to keep the spray onto only my hair and not my skin and it takes just a second to get a good color coverage.It looks good and does a great job of covering the gray very well. It’s also small enough to pack on a trip.What I don’t like:It’s very temporary. It certainly lasts a day or even three. But it does brush out (not immediately, but it does with each additional stroke, come off onto the brush). It will come off on to your pillow.It tends to make my hair feel a little like cotton.It’s also a little too dark for my hair. I wish that it came in a light brown shade to match better.Although it does last pretty long (because you don’t use much at all each time), it is a small container. Bought this after my hairdresser recommended that I stop using Fancy Full for dark brown hair, because it was turning my hair purple. I only have grey (actually light silver) in the very front of my hair, specifically in the bangs. I have dark brown hair and this blended in perfectly. It's easy to use and covered up the grey quickly and without mess. The first time I tried it I unfortunately caught a bad gastrointestinal flu and didn't have the energy to wash my hair for two days after spraying it on. It stayed on, and did not stain my pillows. They have a new loyal customer in me. 👍

I love these products for when my grays start to pop out between hair stylist appts! I can even get darker colors the longer I let my roots grow out.I’ve used the spray and the powder. Both work great, but the spray is easier to use. It doesn’t last as long as the powder, but if you spray it sparingly, it should last for a while.That aside, when I opened these today, I saw that the date on them is June 2021. I ordered them July 30 2022. 🤔 Plus, there aren’t even any labels on them. ??Is that an expiration date? I can’t return it because it’s a container with a gas, so I am fairly annoyed with this.I’m just hoping that date doesn’t really matter, and that this product doesn’t expire; we’ll see. 🤷🏼‍♀️

I was extremely skeptical about this product working, I was very very happy to see how well it works! I rarely believe the videos companies post with actresses promoting a product. But this one really works as advertised!I dye my hair every 4/5 weeks. Within 10 days, my hair has grown and my gray roots are very noticeable! I was using liquid touch up products but they took forever to get them done. It's very easy to use. You just point and spray!Looks absolutely natural!!;I highly recommend this product!

Fantastic product, I was iffy on buying this product due to mixed reviews. I don’t often write reviews. This product is amazing. My hair grows fast and I was having to color more than I wanted. Since I am not going out due to covid I thought no big deal, but I couldn’t stand to look in the mirror at my gray roots. This product matched my color perfectly. No overspray and very easy to use. Seriously this is the real deal. I will be buying again.

Like many during this pandemic, I'm long overdue to see my hairstylist and the "true colors" that I don't want showing are coming through. Even though my stylist uses multiple colors/highlights this seems to blend pretty well. The price of these types of products seems to have increased significantly with the virus, but this was a better deal than most. The fact that they're small is helpful if I ever needed to take one with when I fly.Hoping I don't need it for much longer, but nice to have in the meantime.
