Excellent film, great price- would buy again

Have used both new Portra 160 and 400, along with Fuji Pro 400H. All three are excellent films. It is a personal choice. For my pro work Portra 400 is my go to film. After extensively using both my preference is Portra 400 for my industrial work.Folks, it is the Mac vs. Windows, Chevy vs. Ford thingy. Choose the film that best produces images for your eyes and for your client. As for rating I have shot at box and +1, developed as ISO 400, results are excellent. For a test I took a roll shot at different ISO up and down the range, from ISO 100 through ISO 1600. After the pro lab, Richards Photo Lab, processed the film and did prints it was difficult to see a difference, only at the extreme ends of the ISO.

Wow! I’ve never used this quality of film and it is amazing! I actually love the way it looks. I took a leap on using this expensive film as I’ve really only used cheap Kodak or Fuji stuff. I am well pleased!

Really convenient and easy purchase process. Have been buying this film off of Amazon for years now and have yet to have a dud. Would recommend!

I really love portra 400, but this pack of 5 had some strange rolls. Two of them gave me really hazy colors, the rest turned out fine. Those two were developed in two different labs, but there's always a possibility that its a mistake on their end. In any case, the rest gave me great results and I just finished shooting the last one about a month ago even though I ordered this package about a year ago (I saved them for special events). Worth buying 5!
