I started using this collagen supplement about 2 years ago. I was hoping it would help with the early arthritic pain I started having, as well as helping to replenish the collagen I've been losing as I hit my "after 30's."The pain is still there. I never really noticed any relief from that. So I have to say I don't continue to use it for that. This is kind of disappointing, but not a game changer.I stopped using the collagen as I began to have some health issues (completely unrelated), in an effort to try to jump start my recovery by not using any supplements for a time. I began to notice more sagging around my jawline. I don't know if it's related, but I'm thankful to be taking the supplements again. I may be a bit vain, but I do enjoy getting told I look a good decade younger than I am.Within 2 months of starting this supplement I went to my hairdresser, to whom I've been going about 10 years. She mentioned my hair is significantly thicker and is growing faster. It's also healthier, shinier, and my natural curls are bouncer and more curly. My postpartum hair loss is also significantly reduced.I haven't noticed any difference in my nails, whether in growth or strength.Osteoporosis is a major issue in my family, so I truly hope that taking collagen will help prevent or at least slow that down for me. I don't know if it has helped at all, but I like to think it has.UPDATE: As I've seen mentioned in the reviews, I ended up with smelly brown pills. I'm not sure what happened, but they've not helped at all. Whereas before u was taking only 1 pill a day and still seeing results, I'm taking the full dose and my hair has never been so thin. I had a baby about 5 months ago, and the postpartum hair loss is so bad! My hair looks awful. I keep telling myself that it's because I had stopped taking the collagen for a few months and am only now restarting, but I'm not sure. I'm going to be taking a different brand for a month or 2. If they actually do what they are supposed to do... at half the price... I'll do a second update. I do think the quality of these pills went down, and I'm not sure if I even got collagen in these brown pills.

Collagen! Yes, please... As a lady in her mid 40's I now see the beginnings of my face starting to fall in a downward direction (thanks a lot gravity!) and have a legit fear of waking up one morning and looking like a Shar-Pei! Luckily I've came across this modestly priced collagen that doesn't break the bank! And bonus: it's pill form! So be at ease knowing that you won't have to choke down any ill tasting powders.Now, having been on this collagen induced journey for the the last several months and been off for a couple of months, I can confidently say this: I can tell a different in my face... Specifically in my jaw line area. While using the collagen, I feel like everything was a bit more taut and in place . I would say the same for the area around my mouth as well. However after being off for a couple of months, there is a sag in both of those areas (that I do NOT appreciate). I will unquestionably be getting back on this product ASAP.

I first heard about the collagen supplements on TV, in the powder form, and did not buy it but thought about it. I am covered in stretch marks and my skin was so dry that it always itched. Now my skin almost feels like I put lotion on it, even when I had not. My skin is soft now and feels tighter. I have hormonal acne, and it has helped with it some but will not cure it. I noticed that I sleep deeper, and I am not so hungry late at night. I used to get extreme hunger pains before bed, and I do not diet.I take one pill with breakfast, one around lunch, and the last pill a hour or so before bed. It has been three weeks that I have taken these pills, and I feel more energy during the day too. My clothes fit a little looser, and I have not weighed myself. But, I did notice some of my clothes that were tight have more give. And, I have not changed my diet in any way. Also, I used to have my knees crack sometimes when I would do squats (body-weight issue), but that has not happened anymore.This is not a miracle pill, and I have only taken it a few weeks and have no idea what would result long-term. I do not think it can cure anything, but I think it can help greatly. I would buy this again. The only draw back is that I pass gas all the time now. From a.m. to p.m., my family notices I pass gas but does not know why. It must be that my body is digesting it slowly. I feel it working, but I would not have this much gas if I digested it well.My experience is that you look and feel better, but you may pass gas more than you are comfortable to admit. The pill does not have a taste, as it is a capsule. I have not had pain issues, so I could not give a five in that category as there was nothing to improve there. But, I noticed it helped with my joints. Now my bones do not crack.I am thinking of taking Betaine HCL w/Pepsin with it, as I used to take it years ago for digestive issues. I stopped taking Betaine HCL after it fixed my digestive issues and I was able to get off Proton Pump Inhibitors. It was great for heavy meals and I also too it when my body took longer to digest things. I may take them both in the future and see what my results would be. At the very least, I may stop passing gas. It is not a problem during quarantine, but eventually I will be out in public again.

I previously had been taking this same product, label information exactly identical, but it was in a black bottle. No detectable taste. Excellent results, nails and hair unbelievably improved. So I ordered the 60 days supply, it is in a white bottle. The taste is very strong both while I’m swallowing them and also after, for quite a while. I don’t know if this bottle is defective, but due to the difference I will discard these and try a different brand. I’m really disappointed because this seemed to be the perfect supplement!
