Works on a 2014 Nissan Sentra
Installed on a 2014 Nissan Sentra connected to a JVC KW-V66BT and worked great. The only problem was in reading the installation instruction's wiring diagram, but that was more my problem than theirs. Once I figured out the correct orientation, everything went smoothly. I do recommend buying some Quick Splice Wire Terminals rather than trying to strip the wires the way the instructions say.

It works, but is it really worth it.
I can't believe that I had to get this to smk my steering wheel on my 2010 Scion xb working, but it worked. I still think it's dumb to have this on top of the wiring harness to get things working! It's 2025. Let's make things work better with less ! After trying this up, I realized how much I use the buttons on my steering wheel and . . . . It's a lot. So yeah it's worth it, but let's work on something better. Easier. The fact you have to hook this up to the computer and all the rediclious steps..... Is insane to me.

Complete trash, just about nothing fits. DO NOT BUY!!!
Bought this kit for my wife's 2010 Subaru Forester. After nothing fit I double checked and the instructions even list her car...this is SUPPOSED to be right for the car, but just about none of it fits properly. First thing I noticed was that the mounting brackets aren't the correct size. If you align the locator pin in top bolt hole, then the bottom bolt hole doesn't line up at all (see photo). Same on both the right and left. Then I thought, ok but the wiring harness is correct right? NOPE Not even close, see second photo, no way those two go together. The only thing about this kit that is remotely correct is that the facia adaptor fits the hole in the in the dash correctly, and a name brand double din head unit fits perfectly in the facia adaptor. Now you can't mount it because of the mount plates...but they did get the facia part correct.

Worked first try
Easy to use, followed the instructions online to connect to my Prius C. Steering wheel controls worked instantly after connecting the wires.

Required several hours of tweaking to get it to work for my Hummer H2
I had to give this three stars, because it required several hours of tweaking to get it to work on my Hummer H2.As soon as you remove it from the box, download the Axxess firmware download tool and update it with a micro-usb cable! This could possible save you a great deal of headache.I used this device with the Axxess GMOD-04 Onstar/Bose interface, which already had the 16pin connector that plugs directly into the ASWC-1, but that connector did not have the red wire connected. The instructions said to attach the red wire to a 12v Ignition Accessories wire. I installed in a 2003 Hummer H2 and there was no existing "12v Ignition Accessories" wire being used by the stock radio, so I soldered the red-wire from the 16-pin connector that connects to the ASWC-1 connector into the TWO red wires that goes from the 24pic GMOD-04 to the actual receiver harness.Different vehicles will have different combinations of wires that have to be connected to the ASWC-1. For my H2 only three wires were necessary: Red, Black, and Pink. All the other wires coming from the ASWC-1 needed to be cut and capped. With this arrangement, the green LED should have flashed 6 short then 1 long flash (the 7th flash indicated that the pink wire was receiving signal). Every-time I powered up I received 7 short flashes which means it was receiving no signal from the steering wheel controls. I checked and rechecked my connections, and finally I read in the troubleshooting guide to start pressing the Up Volume volume repeatedly upon turning on the ignition (apparently for some vehicles you have to press and hold. I tried that first, but still only seven short flashes). Pressing repeatedly seems to have done the trick, as the 7th flash was finally a long flash, which means it was sensing the pink wire. After the seven green flashes, the unit flashes a specific number of short flashes to indicate the brand of the receiver. I am using a Jensen (VX7022) receiver, so it was supposed to flash six times. The ASWC-1 comes with a wired female 3.5mm audio-style connector that connects from the ASWC-1 to the SCW control wires on your receiver. The ASWC-1 comes with a two wire connector, but my Jensen receiver had 3 wires for the SWC. It would seem that my specific receiver is already pre-configured for a PAX brand SCW, but I didn't know that until after I had already purchased the ASWC-1. Using the PAX would have meant that I needed to tap the pink wire (possibly different for a different vehicle) but it apparently offered more control points/buttons for my specific receiver. Research your receiver's SWC (Steering Wheel Control) features before deciding which interface to purchase. The Jensen came with a 3-wire female 3.5mm audio-style plug of its own, so I used it instead of the 2-wire version that came with the ASWC-1. When I plugged in the 2-wire male to the 3-wire female, and restarted the ignition, I received the six red LED flashes and the light turned solid (where it had previously been flashing between red and green). So after three hours of troubleshooting, I restarted the ignition and everything worked as expected.
