Such a helpful book! This book significantly improved my sketching skills and is perfect for designers of all levels. The exercises are accessible and adaptable, no matter your experience. I especially love all the hand-drawn sketches—so refreshing compared to the digital-heavy focus of many design programs today. This book truly helped me feel more confident and excited in my work.

Easy step by step instructions on how to sketch wether your a beginner or advanced in sketching and designing homes perfect for interior and exterior

I am an interior designer who graduated from interior design program a few years ago and who is returning to the field after a break. This book has been very helpful in refreshing my sketching. There's nothing like making a quick sketch of something you have in mind to communicate one's idea! I got a ton of ideas of how to quickly sketch a space or a product from this book and a refresher on perspectives! This book also challenges one to think though sketching: thinking about creating 'accidental' negative space, play of light and shadows, highlighting viewpoints. And I can't say enough about teaching how to draw people quickly, effortlessly and in a way that looks great. Stephanie draws on examples of great architecture and it's a great inspiration. Definitely recommend this book whether you are a student, or already a designer!

The hardest part of sketching is actually getting started, and this book gives a ton of great exercises to get you going! They're broken down into steps that are easy to follow, and cover a range of scales, so that you can start with a piece of furniture you have at home, or go out into the world and sketch/appreciate the architecture around you. Would recommend for anyone who is looking to get into, or back into, sketching, especially if you're interested in architecture and design.

I used this book for my modern architecture and design class, and it helped improve my sketches and drawing skills. Each exercise has a number of steps that break down a complex final sketch into easier parts. This book contains chapters of furniture and lighting, interiors, and architecture. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to learn or improve their architecture and interior design sketching skills.

I bought this book for my very fist sketching class in interior architecture school and it was the best purchase I have ever made. This book is so easy to follow and comes with so many exercises. It is also a great tool to draw diagrams when studying buildings and working on precedents. It is very affordable too. I used it in my 1st semester and I had used it again for my 3rd semester in interior architecture school.I highly recommend this book to students who are learning sketching and for the faculty, as it is a great tool to use for lectures

This book is simply fantastic. As someone with no sketching experience, this book provided a thorough foundation of skills and techniques through approachable exercises that felt very relevant and varied. I couldn't recommend this book enough to someone with little to no sketching experience, and for anyone looking to brush up on foundational skills and techniques.
