i love this lock
i love this lock, it is very light but solid at the same time. there are other locks that are more secure and more weather resistant than this one from abus and other companies, but this one is lighter and cheaper and still has a quality feel to it. my Abloy 330 is more secure and more weather resistant than this lock but is 5 times the weight and 10 times the cost, and if somebody really wanted to break into my gym locker they would still find a way, even with an Abloy on it.so this is NOT a high-end or high-security lock, it is just a regular lock that's better than your average master lock and lighter at the same time. a good choice for a gym locker if you don't mind carrying a key.i definitely recommend this product as long as you understand that just because it is German doesn't mean it is intended to provide the same level of security as an Abloy Protec.

High quality at a fair price
Sturdy, lightweight, and precision made. The mechanism operates smoothly and hasn't stuck at all in the time I've used this. It's been hanging outside on my shed for over a month now with no issues.

Advanced picking lock (for me).
This seems like a nice lock, but i use it for locksport. The shackle is spring loaded and there is no play in the core when tensioning. The pins dont seem to bind so this will stump me for a while.

A feel good purchase
Nice lock, better quality than expected. Only 4 stars for the lock feature. only because I don't have a lot of faith in the light weight body. I guess time will tell....

Rock solid lock
Very good lock. ABUS locks were recommended by a lock expert online as one of the more secure designs. Whether that’s true or not, the padlock looks well built and sturdy. Very reassuring.

Good, sturdy lock.
Feels like a very solid lock. I don't have any experience with lock picking, but the lock is heavy and feels very substantial. I got two of these for my gym lockers and haven't had a problem.

Had bought half a dozen of these, but they've been failing more often
The last couple I've bought have lasted only a few months. A shame, as they used to be sturdy and last for a couple years.

Exceptional quality as usual
Great, well made lock. Has spool pins in it so it cannot be picked easily. Build quality is off the charts and it's a nice size.You can't go wrong if you're looking for something that isn't a master lock.
