Good saw - 2 complaints
My Bosch 4000 finally gave up after about 20 years. So I bought the current iteration of the same saw. Very accurate, plenty of power. 2 complaints. #1) I had to buy the gravity rise stand - something I have no use for since I don't move the saw around the shop or take it out of the shop. The design of the stand (which works great - if you want to roll the saw around - I don't) makes it 'jiggle' when you use the saw. I will be building a solid stand in the future - so what do I do with the roll around stand? You see the issue there. #2) Lousy dust collection even when hooked up to a shop vac. The 'dust bag' accessory is pathetic - don't buy it. Just hook up to a shop-vac - that helps a great deal. However - even when hooked to the Vac - I still, often, get a stream of saw dust rising up out of the slot at the back of the blade where the plate opens to allow passage for the riving knife. A strip of blue tape will help with that but it's not always practical. Otherwise - I like the saw. It came out of the box VERY accurate, the fence is great, the accessories work well (except the dust bag) and the price seems reasonable to me. If it lasts as long as it's predecessor - I will count myself well satisfied.

***** FIVE STARS for the Bosch 4100XC-10 Worksite Table Saw *****
This saw shipped free and arrived very quickly. I looked at every comparative product review and video; as well as countless vendors, including the big box stores before placing my order with Amazon. I considered the Skilsaw as an alternative but shied away from it because of poor alignment and calibration reviews. The saw and stand were very well protected in manufacturer's packaging. I have calibrated and used table saws and taught table saw/shop safety since 1980 with an excellent safety record. Out of the box setup had this saw in perfect alignment. The safety features: riving knife, anti kick back dogs, double sided guard/shield are quick and easy to deploy and are well designed. Miter gauge stops are inaccurate but I have never relied on them without double checking with a reliable machinist's square. Blade height at 3.124" will not rip 4x dimensional material. I generally do crosscutting with a chop saw. Fence gauge is confusing but I have never relied on that anyway and always double check using a reliable rule at front and back of blade measuring to teeth on same side. 3,650 rpm is not as optimal as 5,000 rpm delivered by other manufacturers, but seems adequate for most tasks. 4.0 hp motor delivers more torque than many other manufacturers models so bogs down less under load. On board storage of accessories is cleverly designed. The Gravity Rise stand/cart went together easily in 20 minutes using a crescent wrench and the Allen key supplied. Important to note: follow sequential setup photos carefully noting proper component positioning at each step. The stand/cart is easy to operate/collapse/erect/maneuver. It easily rolls through a 30" doorway. These saws hold their value and are rare finds on the used market, usually selling soon after listing, but then you'll never know if it was abused or how heavily it was used. If you need a portable jobsite saw, this is a great buy. If you're doing fine woodworking like making furniture, get a stationary cabinet model.

Great job site table saw
I have had many job site table saws over the years and I am just totally satisfied with this one. The stand works great, it folds up and down easily the nice sized wheels make it easy to move around. The saw does every thing that I expect of a job site saw and then some. The only thing that I would have differently on it would be a rack and pinion fence. The fence that's on it is a good fence but the rack and pinion controlled fence like the one on the DeWalt is a little more easier to set. Other than that though this is an excellent saw.

The pain of assembly is well worth it
This thing is super accurate and easy to store away... but MAN is this thing a pain in the rear to assemble... I had to disassemble it and reassemble it at least once before I can get on my way of getting it done. Don't forget to get that dust collector bag... this saw leaves almost no sawdust behind with something simple like that... it's amazing how clean it gets the job done.

I really like it. Really a 4 1/2 star but no halves available
Its lighter than I'm used to ,however it is stable. What I was needing was to get rid of my 2 older machines (much larger) and have something that I can roll up to the shop when I'm through with it and it does not take up too much room. This definitely is capable of that . I've found that when I'm ripping or using my Dado blade this machine is very responsive. The guide so far seems stable and that's extremely important . Definitely purchase the left side support. Easy to install, and if you're ripping plywood by yourself it's a must. My GF is looking at it and I'm not sure if I should lock it up. Showed her how to cut a perfect circle with it and watched her eyes get bigger. She thought I was kidding her.Now ,what everybody is waiting for ....Why just a 4 star . Couldn't figure out how to do a half one , that's why. This is where a girlfriend comes in handy.. NO Directions at all. Probably fell out of the box or some silly thing... I tore through the box.. Actually tore it to pieces. I was fuming . Looked over at her , and she was calm , Looked at me and calmly said , Look at the drawing on the box , I'll get the tea .Kinda looked like what I needed .There's 2 pieces one marked left and one marked right. With the sketch and those 2 pieces that were marked it took about an hour. So not including me throwing a fit and her silly grin, a 4 for putting it together.
