Don’t Be Fooled
Don’t be fooled by the packaging that says these sticks last for one month. They do not. They last about a week. I bought these to use in a urinal. There are two males that use the urinal. That’s it. The stick will last only about a week because it will dissolve. But, it appears to do the task it is designed to do. Good thing the order came with four packages. They will last a few months that way. The product seems to work as advertised tho. So, that's why I give it 5 stars.

Smell nice but they're gigantic
For a typical kitchen sink, these are too big. We have to cut them into little pieces. They smell amazing but we're not really able to enjoy them because they mostly clog the drain rather than drop in

I don't know if they work or not
I have some sinks and showers that occasionally a weird smell will come from them. I wonder if it's from my water; we live at the beach and there's the slightest natural weird smell anyway. I thought these might help as that's one thing they say they WILL do. So, I bought the 4 pack and went through the house putting them in every drain, toilets included as the package recommends, and sat back to wait. It says it will take up to a month or more, because these aren't horrible chemicals, cleaning your pipes and busting your clogs. Instead they will leave behind one of four fantastic smells; these are enzymes or probiotics or some other natural thing I really can't be bothered to think of right now. SO, the month passed and none of my drains or toilets whooshed out water any faster than they had before, and I was only met with the peppermint scent of my toothpaste when I brushed and not a gentle lavender coming up through the pipes. Knowing it just needed time to work, I pulled out the citrus scent ones and skipped through the house dropping them into the drains overlooking the fact that I was reminded of 4th grade hall clean-up after accidents. Time passed. Days were marked off on the calendar. Even Alexa was asking me how the progress was going. The big inspection day came. Nothing. Not even the slightest scent. Now I'm not a plumber, but I know that there's a big curve in the bottom of the sink pipe that keeps wedding rings from going into the drainage system if you turn the water off fast enough. It's on 2/3 of rom coms. These are sticks. They can't turn that U-shape unless they immediately dissolve when they hit the bottom and get splashed by water. Is this why I never smelled lavender or citrus (which I'm really okay with passing on?) If nothing else it should have at least emitted a smell for a few days if it was still there regardless if it was working hard with all it's natural ingredients to NOT clean my drains. SO, I'm dumbfounded and Alexa is in a funk like I've never seen her because she helped me order the things. I think one of the Dots has actually stopped working altogether. I think we'll eventually pull out of this, but, I think in the future, we'll use some plain old chemicals for all our bathroom scent needs.

Broken sticks simply wash down the drain and do nothing.
I had used this type of product previously and had noticed fewer odors, especially when the odors seemed to return from a couple of drain locations once I ran out and stopped using them for a time. I bought these as a replacement and am rather dissatisfied. The sticks are rather difficult to get out of the packaging intact, and about half of them ended up broken into small pieces When they are shorter, they cannot lodge in the drain P-trap and will simply wash down the drain doing nothing for drain smells or helping to dissolve solids and keep the drain open. I also have to wonder, being so brittle, if they actually stay put in the drain when I am able to get one out of the pack without breaking it.I will try the product again as after doing a little research on my purchase history I found previously I ordered a different brand of the same product. I do not recall any issue with those breaking apart. I'll stick with the original Sani-Stick brand.

Freshens drains
I bought because I was noticing that “sulfur” smell from the shower drain. Tried pouring vinegar & baking soda down the drain but it didn’t work. Found these sticks and they seem to be doing a good job so far. It’s been about 3 mths and so far so good.

Doesn't last long
I was pretty disappointed in these because the scent doesn't last very long. It felt like putting crayons in my drains.
