Rust-Oleum 344763 Automotive 2-in-1 Rust Reform & Seal, Quart, Black, 32 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)

I used this coating to protect the iron framework on a seasonal boat dock which had rusted badly. I just wire-brushed the metal before applying it to the iron. I'm impressed with the ease of use and what seems to be a durable sort of rubberized coating that I think will do a great job of protecting the framework for me. Time will tell, I'm glad I chose this product over much more labor intensive and costly alternatives on the market.

Used to coat my F150 rear axle. Got tired of looking at tge surface rust. Wire brushed what I could reach, cleaned, masked off wheels and sprayed. Been through one winter and so far so good.

I can't quite write on the overall effectiveness or longevity of the product as I've only had it on the underside of my truck for a couple months and I don't drive it much, but I do love the ability to spray it on instead of the older brush on type.

I'm painting on a metal fence with a foam roller. I used an angle grinder two years ago and covered with oil based enamel only to have the rust back!! Decided to use this product to reduce labor and can paint gloss over it later if desired once rust is controlled. The only real issue i encountered is that you do not want to over load this product in any area that might produce runs because it dries quickly and you can't just brush it out like enamel paint so be advised. It coats well, looks to be durable and was OK value, or better if it works. I was able to clean myself up with mineral spirits. It leaves a dull finish. I will be purchasing additional product as i continue and am satisfied so far

This stuff really works, I just scraped off the loose rust and sprayed it on. About 30min later I had a nice hard black coat on by trailer hitch.

Easily applied with roller and brush, looks great! Very pleased with this product.

Terrible case for me. Bought total of 3 cans to do paint job, but all 3 cans either plugged easily or no paint coming out. One of the canister last only 2 seconds before it quit. While 2 other canister each last about a minute or two before giving up. Amazon wouldn't allow return, so I spent close to $40 worth of paint that couldn't do the job.

Goes on easy, just not a ton of coverage.
