Like the older horror survival games. I do wish that you could select a "quick save" option in the settings, though. The fear of not being able to save in a timely fashion has admittedly kept me from playing on more than one occasion. Other than that, it's great!

Honestly I would of given this game 5 stars if it wasn't for the fact replayability is lacking intensely.The game is fantastic. The best part about it was its puzzles. I HATE survival horror puzzles but this game made me like it. The sound and music in this game feels so satisfying to hear. Just a simple inventory click is like heroine to me ears. Atmosphere is intensely fantastic. Voice acting terrible. The only voice that was somewhat pleasant yet professional to hear was a certain character but I don't want to spoil it. Story isn't great, but certainly not terrible. It keeps you interested to learn and read/hear/discover more about what's going on. The game even comes with a folded up map of the entire area, how awesome is that! I cant remember the last time I got a game with anything inside the game case besides emptiness. Combat is boring but luckily its not its main focus. Yo can honestly kill every enemy in the game as long as you keep a eye out for all the ammo scattered around.All you can do is look up some reviews and if its a game that interest you I promise you wont be dissapointed. One more thing I have to stress is the lack of replayability. You'll get no NG+. There is no difficulty settings to challenge yourself even after beating the game. The game tries to demonstrate unlocking outfits however the reality is you find one at the very start and that's it. Perhaps yu can purchase outfits? A great game for me in 3rd persons view giving me the feels from the 90’s love how they managed to put it in a small cartridge. I just dont like the voice acting tho. Gameplay is ok and never encounter any lagging issues or anything like that. Creepy and it has multiple ending which surprised me.

Tormented Souls was obviously made by people who know their stuff when it comes to old school classic survival horror...basically anything before Resident Evil 4. The setting, the atmosphere, even the save system brings back a simpler time. Highly recommend to anyone who loves the old school Resident Evil and Silent Hill games.

Husband seemed to enjoy the game. However, he did say it was a short game to beat.

I was sent a European copy as a download code and it doesn't work in my region!
