Best Steam Mop
I did a lot of research on a variety of different steam mops for sale on Amazon and finally settled on this one. I was worried about my choice because it didn't seem to have as much versatility as the mops with 6+ different attachments and choosing a mop that did more than just mop was one of my requirements. However, with just removing the mop head and using the steam blast scrubbing mechanism i was able to clean all the areas of my house without fancy attachments. I've cleaned my tile, my grout, my baseboards, my upholstery, and stains on my carpet! The steam is hot, very hot! So be careful when handling the mop and changing the pads. The steamer heats up quickly, in less than 30 seconds. The cord is long which makes cleaning large areas very convenient. The water reservoir is large and I can do my whole house off of one refill. I use distilled water and let the mop dry lying down after using. I like that the scrubber attachment is removable for easy cleaning. The while mop is sleek and slender, easy to store. Overall, this mop is a little more expensive than other mops that advertise all of their fancy attachments and modern design but I think I made the right choice choosing this one. My floors have never looked cleaner.

Love how well this works
This is my second Bissell steam mop. The first one lasted 7 years with weekly use and 80% of my house is tile! I only use distilled water and I think that really helped to prolong its life. This new one has several new features that are great. Longer cord; doesn’t fall over as easily AND the best is that the mop head easily removes to blast steam onto grout and then the bristles that surround the area where the steam comes out makes cleaning your grout so easy!! Whoever dreamed this up deserves a raise! Thank youIf you mop- you need this product. It will make your life so much easier

Wish I had this sooner
I had a shark that was 15 years old that finally had its last mopping. I stay with steam mops as professionals say they are the best. I did my research on many sites to find what works best for tiles floors and heavy pets/traffic areas. This one topped out on a couple of lists. There was a canister one that was a bit better because it had attachments, but I have something already that cleans furniture if I need it, so I went with this and saved myself $50. It was very easy to put together and start using. When I started using it, it was so incredibly easy to use and I could see it cleaning my grout. Note that we did seal our grout when we moved in and we’ve had it professionally cleaned several times over ten years, but you can still see where it gets dark. I did not use the scrubbing part yet, just the regular steam portion to test it out. I couldn’t be happier with this purchase so far! Highly recommend!

Cleans well especially grout
This is a great little steam mop, and the brush feature really does a super job on grout and the mop itself leaves the floor squeaky clean. That is why I give it four stars. Unfortunately, the first one I purchased (earlier model, but very similar) did not last very long at all and that is why I don't give five stars. Part of that was apparently my fault, since I did not use distilled water- also why I give it four stars instead of three. I am using nothing but distilled water in this one and I am in hopes that is the trick to make it last longer. Very lightweight, easy to fill and use, and definitely fills the bill if it lasts longer than my first one did.

Absolutely Love it!
Great for ceramic floors. The steam is very impressive. I've used it several times and cannot believe how much cleaner my floors feel. Highly recommend.

Great mop!
This mop is amazing. Bought an old house with ridged linoleum on the kitchen floor that I haven’t been able to get clean. I’m shocked at the dirt I’ve picked up after two uses of this mop. Highly recommend!

Life changing for the cleaning enthusiast
Having used this, I think that Swiffer just moves dirt and grime around on the floor instead of picking it up. I could not believe the bottom of my pad after 20 minutes of owning this machine. I will never go back to using a Swiffer and steam mops are the way forward. My buying notes:1. As many others have stated, the water reservoir had droplets in it upon arrival. This has to be a QA/QC thing, but it would be nice for Bissell or Amazon to figure out how to either leave a note or to dry it out. Many of us thought we had received a used steam mop that was sent back. Not a big deal at the end of the day after learning about this.2. The mop does make a slight sound while in use, like a soft knocking or gurgling, but not an issue. It would be nice for the startup guide to mention these so customers don't think they have a broken mop though.3. The cord length is massively long (25 ft), way longer than my Shark vacuum. I will say this is a house type item for sure. If you have a small space like an apartment and don't like plugged in items, I'd look for a Tineco cordless steam mop. I like corded items mostly because the power output is usually better, and I don't have to worry about recharging.4. The detachable base is nice for the bristle brush. It comes in handy for a lot of spots, especially in the bathroom and on tile. I do wish there was a more handheld aspect though that wasn't as awkward to hold for smaller areas.5. The washable pads are awesome and work very well. The scent pads are a plus but not something I need.6. As an equipment repair technician, I highly suggest making sure you use demineralized, distilled water or RO water. Over time, the chemicals and elements in tap water or a diluted cleaning agent will degrade the functions/parts of this unit. Any piece of equipment that is dealing in pressure, fluid and high temperatures is going to eventually breakdown sooner rather than later without proper maintenance. Reading the reviews, I already don't expect to get 10 years out of this thing, but I'm wondering how many issues were self-inflicted by not using the right water or not storing it properly.7. As slim as this unit is, storing it is something to think about. I hang mine on my utility wall after draining and drying. I also detach the base to hang that separately as well. The base is quite wide like a large vacuum head.
