Replaces $600 worth of hard to use tools
Anyone who has dealt with PEX copper compression rings will REALLY appreciate this inexpensive sensible upgrade . Before you needed 3 different tools to crimp the 3 most commonly used sizes of rings 3/8 ,1/2, 3/4 ,that set alone cost $$$$$$ and if you needed 1inch it was another big bite out of your wallet . Insult to injury the copper rings turned green and began to leak after a year or two, drip drip drip, and if you have any iron in your water it actually ATE the rings. Along comes this tool that crimps ALL sizes of stainless steel crimp rings even the biggest .ones ,for the home owner DIY its all you need . I bought the manual one ,it came with an assortment of high quality rings , tried it out on some scrap pieces , and with a little oomph got perfect crimps. I bought all the rings , fittings , couplings, elbows, and manifolds on Amazon for reasonable prices, everything was in stock and came in 2 days. There are other crimp tools on Amazon that have hydraulic assist,and are still manual , just easier to operate and make sense if your going to be doing bigger jobs, but for my needs ,quick,easy,and practical did the trick .

Decent crimper with 1" rings
One of the few PEX ring crimpers that comes with 1" rings! Decent build quality, and does the job.I was successfully able to crimp 1" rings on PEX-B without leaks...

Good tool as long as you can get at the vacuum line or whatever line you're crimping
I used this to crimp lines on a turbo for my Audi 2.0 and they look practically OE after done. The pliers are pretty big so don't think you're going to be using it in the engine bay unless the lines are really in the open and easy access. I wish they could've made smaller ones for that, but the bigger pliers gives you the leverage to crimp. This I guess matters if you're a weak little pansy.

Good quality
Easy to use in tight places. Have pex tools for the rings but are hard to use in tight places. need good hand strength to crimp the clamps
