Q: I used this to upgrade my sons 6V riding tractor. It worked amazing for about thirty minutes and then just stopped. Anyone know why?

Hi, for your 6V riding tractor, the output voltage of 18v DeWalt battery is too high, there might be risky to use. Or much betterr that you can add a switch power supply to use, or you you can try the Milwaukee M12 12V battery adapter.

Q: I installed this correctly but im blowing fuses. Anyone have this issue? How do i fix this?

Have the same problem. I just ordered 60amp fuses, gonna try that. If that doesn't work I also bought a voltage regulater, which should definitely work.

Dewalt 20v. 20 mins isn’t terrible. The reason that this adapter is so great is because the batteries only take 45 mins to charge instead of 6-8 hours like the OEM. Also, folks usually have half a dozen or so Dewalt batteries which don’t weigh much, charge quick and give you an extra 2 MPH over the OEM heavy battery.
