Connected the wiring under my model railway

Ok made opps, shorted out an old TX, amps must have been 30 or 40 amps. Yes a few melted, no wonder. Wiring which was 2.5 & 4 mm was melted so these can go high in current.Easy to use & like the screw clamp connection. Very easy to use & will buy more when needed.

got these for a model railway build, have the 4, 6 and 12 way versions all of which have proven invaluable for taming the wiring. combined with suitable crimp terminals these make installing power distribution points very simple.the connection strips can be cut easily so these six way can be a pair of three way for example making adding say a 5v power bus easy. especially as each terminal will take a pair of crimp terminal connectors on the side without the bus rail and a further one on the side with it - means 18 usable slots on a 6 way block, or 16 if you have a feed in and out as well.easy to use, can be securely screwed to the board, and unlike the flexible choc block connectors will stay where you put it without bending. the clear plastic lids helps stop problems with stray wires making contact, its a reasonably secure fix but also very easy to add a bit of tape to the ends which holds it even better.all in all a well worth while investment as it makes later fault finding and repair work very simple.they are rated for higher voltages as well so useful more generally

Well made and easy to use - keeps those wires tidy!

I was going to use these to wire my e-scooter electrics but they fall apart when loosened and the plastic is very brittle. The clear cover gets loose very easily and I would not trust them in the high current applications that they say they are rated for. I used an alternative in the end.

The terminal blocks were recommended by Charlie Bishop on his Chadwick Railway YouTube video.Having used them , i found them exactly what i needed to wire up the point motors on my layout.

Useful block for multiple connections. Flexible in that you can cut the connection bars and divide the block into positive and negative terminals to suit your needs. 6 blocks included so there are plenty of options for connection.
