Useful conversion , just may need additional spacer, all in all happy with purchase
Good product and useful with USB sockets, the reason I chose to change, please be aware that the install will only work if you have the deepSocket boxes sunk into the wall or plenty of room behind if doing on partition wallsIf only small shallow hole behind you will need a spacer as additional depth is required from a standard twin 13 amp socket.Bit annoying once wired in and you come to screw it back on the wall but once spacer is obtained all is good and works greatCharge you phones and I pads/tablets and still have plug sockets free to use

5 minute job.
The switched socket plate arrived quite quickly which pleased me. It was well packaged and included a very clear product description and installation guide. The overall quality of manufacture seems high and has a very pleasing curved profile rather than the old fashioned flat rectangle. After turning off the mains power to the correct circuit I was able to fit the new plate in 5 minutes with ease. Power back on and all was ready to go. The switches for the main 3 pin sockets are very positive and having two slightly differently rated USB outlets means I can easily charge two devices simultaneously. Great value for money.

Just like a normal socket really but with USB ports
Just like a normal socket really but with USB ports. Warning though as one of the USB ports is only 1amp and will provide slower charging that the other which is 2amp @ 5vOverall, works a treat!

Solid, slimline double socket with dedicated output USB ports
Slimline form factor double socket with dedicated power output for each USB port (unlike many alternative that ‘share’ the power output). Took a couple of minutes to install, replacing existing standard double socket. Has solid/sturdy switch click. USB sockets always live regardless of switches’ position. As other comments have mentioned. make sure the back box isn’t really slimline as the gubbins at the back of the socket is quite deep and low.Note: If you use the mains power sockets with adapters/plugs that have a wire at the top of the plug, it will interfere with using the USB port. If you want to use this kind of plug, suggest a socket design that has USB ports in the centre of the socket, rather than the top.

Doesn't charge PS4 Controllers!
I got this for my gaming set up, for the TV, PS4 in the plugs and controller and headset in the usb slots. It wasn't too hard to wire and looks good, however I found out you cannot charge the controllers with it. Controllers require precise voltage to charge, however these aren't exact so no joy. Will charge everything else, just not controllers. So if you want it for that, would look for a different make.

Great value
Very easy to install if your not electrician (UK Standads is Live =Red, Nuteral =Black, and earth=yellow/green) the added usb ports are a bonus for if you want to keep plugs clear. I'm going to buy 2 more for my bedroom and office

All good so far.
No problem to fit on my office trunking but colour is slightly off-white compared with the trunking and the other sockets. No issues with noise that have been reported on some similar units. According to my Portapow USB Power Monitor V3 the current available is about 10% up on the quoted numbers. Left hand socket showing around 2.3A for 2.1A rated and the right 1.1A for 1.0A. USB sockets are permanently 'on' irrespective of switch position. Will probably buy another two units for the office (how did I end with so many USB devices?) and a couple more for elsewhere around the house, although it would be even better if there was a version with 1 x USB A and 1x high power USB C as that seems to be the way of the future.

... plug together without any problem so I was very pleased with this socket
I was concerned that the USB charges might be too close to the 3 pins plugs so I tested it. I was pleased that I could plug in both the USB charger and the 3 pins plug together without any problem.I like that the USB chargers in this double wall plug socket have 2 separate amperage, 2.1A and 1A and not share like most of the sockets with USB charges. This means I charge my camera on the 2.1A while charging my phone on the 1A at the same time in their individual full amps.
