Easy to read

This book was an excerpt of a bigger book. I think it was written during the COVID era and may need updates on restaurants, etc. I was more interested in Como and it got a paragraph.

Wanting to plan a trip to Italy. Rick Steves has been spot on in other places we've visited.

I traveled in November 2023. By then, a lot of the practical information in the book was already out of date, such as some details about the Milan metro. And despite the guide's title, its coverage of the Italian Lakes was very limited. I spent two days in Como but the book had absolutely nothing about the historic and popular tourist city after which Lake Como is named. Unfortunately, there was a lack of up-to-date guidebooks for Milan at the time of my trip, so this one was better than nothing.

A concise and well written guide to these areas

Introduction of top places , nice pictures all common things in all travel books. This book answers what tourist what to know in detail. Easy to read and follow. Great book.
