Streamline+ Alu White Aluminium Flexible Curtain Track Ideal for Bay or Straight Windows 300cm

I have bought yet another one of these aluminium curtain rails as they are excellent products. They are well made and easy to install (and to remove/refit). As they are made of aluminium, they can be bent easily for a bay window and maintain their shape. Internal and external bends can be achieved without any problems. Note though that the 300cm rail does not come as a single length but in two parts. It does, however, come with a connector which does an excellent job of joining the pieces and keeping them in line for the curtains to glide over.

Yes, it did take me a while to put it up but that is because I have more than 3m tall bay windows and balancing on a ladder did not make it easy plus I am definitely not a DIY junkie... But I have not one bad thing to say about this product. It is durable and strong (i've been yanking the curtains open and closed for a month now as I have a desk in front of my windows and they are firmly there still as good as new, and my really long and heavy curtains slide open and closed smoothly like a dream!), and although I expected them to look cheap with a plastic look, they look just fine with my white curtains. Completely worth the price as they are not expensive, and the perfect solution for any shaped windows!

The brackets are quick and easy to fit with a wall or ceiling option the track then simply clips on with the help of a small lever on the bracket. The aluminium track bends easily and I used a saucepan rather than my knee for a bit more control of the radius, bend a little at a time then check the fit. Centre join is kept sturdy by the jointing piece. As others have said the end cap screws are in a silly place making them difficult to secure to the track.

Nice and strong, once we figured out how to hang it it was easy! I would recommend purchasing extra hanging hooks as there simple isn’t enough included.

My husband found this fairly easy to cut to size and put up and it works really well in our large bay. The curtains - which are quite heavy - run smoothly and it looks OK too. Other brands have reviews which suggest they're not too good for bay windows so I'm very grateful to reviewers who gave this model a good write-up so we were able to get our purchase right...The price is good too!

Easy to install and feels like a strong rail.Bends easily to fit bay window and joining 2 rails together easy to do.I have long wide heavyweight curtains and these rails hold them perfectly. No issues with these rails at all.

This curtain track was a godsend for using on the awkward shaped windows in my new flat. Split into 4 sections, they're not really a 'bay' shape, more an oblong. Eventually attached to the ceiling to allow one window to tilt, as the wall space above was too narrow; whoever built these flats needs a lesson in where to position windows! My curtains are fairly heavy and yet they glide across this track effortlessly, even over the join. I bought extra hooks to help distribute the weight and I'm really pleased with the finished look; the fittings are virtually invisible behind the track and because the hooks actually fit over the entire width of the track, it is completely smooth and looks very classy. Easy-ish to bend (although I didn't do it!) and uncomplicated to fit, this track was perfect for my windows.

It says it is able to be used for bay windows BUT due to the fact that longer lengths need a joint this makes it not very suitable really. I spent a long time installing this into a bay with all of the curves, however, no matter where I put the joint the curtain hooks would catch and snag... So if you only need a single section then this is a good product, however, if like me you need it for a bay window and it will need a joint I suggest you look elsewhere. This has become a costly mistake for me as now need to replace this rail with a plastic one just so it doesn’t have a joint in it
