Anker MacBook Charger, Compact and Foldable 100W USB C Charger for MacBook Air, Samsung Galaxy, iPad Pro, and More, 5FT USB C Cable Included

This all started because my Samsung cell phone is difficult to charge. The phone seems to require a stiff source of current when it is first connected to a standard 25-watt USB-C charger, and its normal response is to just sit there and "buzz" annoyingly as if to say "Not charging; insufficient energy supply." Only by unplugging and reconnecting the charger cable could I get the phone to actually take on a charge. This phenomenon was common to all of the several small USB-C chargers to which I had access.Being frustrated by this action, I decided that the only solution would be to purchase a more-powerful charter and I settled on the Anker 317 USB-C charger because it carried a 100-watt rating. The Anker charger arrived, I connected the phone, and charging commenced without incident. I'm very pleased with the result. I will also say that the quality of the cable that came with the Anker charger is much better than that which I had been using; it would appear that there there are also differences in manufacturing quality of the USB-C cable connector themselves.One thing more – a bit of reflection on the past: When I worked as a switching power supply designer at Prime Computer in the 1980s, an objective was devise ways to bring the manufacturing cost of power supplies down to one dollar per watt output. And today, I have this little Anker charger that cost me, the end user, one-quarter of that!Ain't technology wonderful.

Makes a good first impression and worked well for 8 months or so but lately it trickle charges many items that it used to charge quickly. Due to this I must let people know that it may have a quicker shelf life than anticipated and I would not buy again.Edit: Changing review to a 5 star due to customer service. Company reached out and replaced my unit well after it would be covered. Very impressed with effort they went to after my initial review. New unit seems to work just fine.

I try to write a review for every Anker product because I love the progress the company has made over the years. I AM SO SATISFIED WITH THE DESIGN OF EACH PRODUCT. Colors are fantastic and everything I buy from Anker holds up so well even after legitimate daily or eve specific use. This charger in particular is great because it meets my power needs and is in the right shape and size to where it fits in my bag well. I hate the bulky charger I have to use for my HP laptop so I've gotten a USB -C to HP barrel tip charger cable and use it with this charging block. Works perfectly. I think the charger just knows how much power to deliver to my laptop and other different ones too because even with differing power needs it always adapts. This charger speaks power as it's a hefty and plugs in very securely and the prongs that go into the outlet are secure when folded down.

This power charger is exactly what I needed to get my Macbook Pro back up and running! I thought I was having an issue with the charging port on the mac itself, but it turns out the Apple charger I was previously using was just not working any longer. This cord plugged right in out of the box and charged up my laptop quickly. The cord is a little shorter than I would have liked, but you can tell the quality of the cord and box are equivalent to the name brand one. Would definitely recommend this reasonably priced power charger to anyone needing a new one!

Arrived on time and works great. I read in some reviews that it gets super hot. I have not experienced that. So far, so good! And the price was right! :)

I liked that it came with a USB c already

Great charger, works pretty well, portable (for a 100W charger for sure), pretty simple to use, yeah, good charger. With previous experiences with anker support, they're absolutely fantastic with replacements and generally very helpful.

Super fast charging with no excess warmth while doing so. Very easy to use with a decent cord length. Work for my MacBook Air and my husband’s Android.
