It means you can connect the same two BTS0011(different colors will work) to get Wireless Stereo sound.The volume will be more impressive and louder than one speaker.

The description says 1/2 hour for full charge plays 3 hours. My new one has been charging for more than 4 hours and red light still on. Defective?

It is possible but you can return it and get another. I personally would just let it charge or you another charger before sending it back
