Capiz Shell Celing Light Lampshade Pendant Flower Ball - Natural

Really disappointed when this shade arrived . I had actually contacted the seller prior to ordering to find out who their courier was for this item as there were issues with a certain courier in our area . I was assured that it would be DPD who would be delivering so I went ahead and placed the order . Then when they dispatched I was giving a tracking number not for DPD but for the courier who the issues were with . Thankfully it did turn up , but when I took it out from the box it was very poor build quality , and the description stated that it had a hidden trap door at the bottom so you could get access to change the bulb and hook the shade onto the cable. It had neither . The fitting was the usual unscrew the lampholder then screw the bottom part back on and also there was no hidden trap door which meant it was not a complete sphere and the bottom just had the normal opening . I specifically bought this shade because of the trap door covering as it was to match a previous shade I had bought years ago . The build was not of the quality I expected for the price either , with rough joins and glue damage on the shell pieces . So unfortunately the shade was returned for a full refund which has now been completed . I notified botH amazon and the seller with respect to the incorrect description , but having checked just before I wrote this it is still showing the same , that it has a hidden trap door feature which it has not. If you are going to go ahead and purchase one of these then you need to check with the seller if you need a complete sphere as stated . I did wonder if I had been sent the wrong item but I checked the product number on the box and it was correct .
