There is no thread, they sit between the foot of your turntable and whatever surface it sits on.

Hello, thank you for your enquiry. A Set of 4 Damp-Its should be sufficient in supporting up to a weight of 20kg, and so off this basis, we cannot see any reason as to why a quantity of 6 should not be sufficient for your speaker however, there may be increased wear of the Damp-ITs over time through using these at the maximum weight of the threshold.
