I needed a cheap 27" monitor for MBP used as my home automation and media server, and this monitor works just fine. With a max resolution of 1080p, the windows and on-screen text are natively large and clear. It's lightweight and the stand is sturdy and holds this monitor in place without wobble or fear of being tipped over easily. This monitor does work with Apple's Night Shift and Dark Screen Modes without having to do any additional configuration on the monitor, and the monitor settings on the monitor itself are easy to use and straightforward. Monitor does go to sleep when the Mac goes to sleep as well.

great upgrade for my pc for gaming nice and bright and has HDMI imputs so that is awesome and lots of other cable hooks ups should have bought 4 of them

We have 3 of these for our kids computers. My son uses two of them. But one monitor isn't like the others, we got a new GPU for him, and it's still slightly off on color and brightness. Overall they haven't had any issues, other than the color and brightness on one panel.They also don't support VESA mounting, so if you are going to do a dual monitor system, they can't be mounted.You can't bet it at this price! and you do have to pay a lot more for color calibrated monitors! These IPS panels looks great considering the color and brightness on only one! if you don't have a sample size of more than one, you'd never know! and this could just be a one off "silicon lottery" type thing.

Picture quality is good, replacing another ACER monitor that was ten+ years old. I was impressed by the life of the old one, I was impressed by the price and value of this one and if it lasts 10 years like the old one did I will be very pleased.

First off I knew I was buying a cheap monitor. The monitor was intended for at home office work but was looking for this resolution and size. Overall the monitor doesn't seem bad and for the price the actual picture the picture quality is about what I expected. However there are so many other glaring problems that I will never buy one again.First problem is the vesa mount. Though it works the screw holes are on a curve and therefore don't actually let my my bracket sit flat after tightening. Then the screw holes are much to shallow not allowing for proper screw engagement especially on the curved portion. Also the mounting location is so low on the monitor that I can see my bracket poking out the bottom.On the same thought with my bracket being so low, since all the electronics of the panel are so low my cables are also incredibly low making wire management practically pointless as everything pointless.Also the on screen display options are a pain to use as the five button system is incredibly terrible and all monitors need to go to a joystick like system. Also I am not fond of the power bricks instead of the more useful typical three prong power supply connection. The cable is too short and the power bricks are a nightmare to get room to actually plug into a power strip especially when using two monitors.Lastly the screen does not actually very bright and will be difficult to see in a bright room. The super sharpness is helpful for text, however still seems softer than a monitor with same resolution and size.All I have to say is that I'm glad this was so cheap and is passable for office otherwise it would immediately be sent back. Even if I just had more time to replace my old monitors I would have returned them.

Bought as a Christmas gift. It was easy to install and has a good quality picture. Great value.
