Works great in our room. I like the silent mode also in the night where the sounds is minimal and the lights off for a better sleep while the air in the room is being cleansed. I love that it has both negative and positive ions producing effective plasma for better lungs.

Good nd effective

This is a good product. I can feel it's altering the air and making it more breathable.I live in a flat where there is ongoing constructions of large projects for more than 2 years and the air quality has significantly deteriorated. I would find very hard to breathe all the time. I was skeptical of air purifiers and thought they didn't work. But then I got this air-purifier half hoping it would work.To my surprise as soon as I turned it on I could feel immediate results, the air within my room was instantly more breathable and my nose were no longer blocked all the time.Now I run this 24 hours a day and have replaced the filter once. The old filter came out completely covered in dust - like you'd see in a filter of a vacuum cleaner.Overall, this is a highly recommended product, especially for people with allergies. Personally I can't live without it.

Update: I bought another one ahahahha. Good stuff. More to come. need to buy MORE Filters.There's no comparison. The other brands can't even be compared. Just can't be. I am ordering a few more for every single room!!! The replacement filters are difficult to come by but you can definitely get it.Extremely good engineering. This product is a blessing.I opened it up to fulfill my curiosity over such a greatly engineered marvel. Did not dissapoint. The quality is way too good to be true for indian market where everyone just wants to make money.This product should absolutely be main streamed. Good stuff. Absolutely good stuff.Its easy to clean. Very simple construction. Noise level is very very good. I use it with the sleep mode on at night and at Auto mode during the day. The air quality in my room is way better now. The auto mode is nicely made.

After doing a lot of research (and i mean a LOT), I finally settled on this one because it's the best value for money.The simple fact is - air purifiers are a very basic technology. Just a combination of filters and a fan. Nothing else is necessary. Even this ionizer and plasmacluster stuff is not *necessary*. But Sharp is the best value in terms of all:Best fan speed and CFM at this price. Easily good enough for any bedroom. And one air purifier is never recommended for a large living room.Best HEPA filters - H14. Better than honeywall, coway, or anything else which is even more expensive. The HEPA filter definitely works. Been 1 month, and it has made a huge difference. It's already picked up a lot of dirt.Carbon filter is not good. It'll get used up in just 1-2 months. That's where they saved money. But you can buy a separate carbon filter from this with model number FZ-F50DFE. This filter is a honeycomb carbon filter like more expensive purifiers, and will improve the filtration even better. It's perfectly compatible with this unit.My recommendation, use this filter at highest fan speed, and when you need silence, then only switch it to medium or low. Don't use Auto because it doesn't work, it'll only run on low speed. The air purifier makes a difference when it is on High. And for even better performance - let the air purifier be the only fan in the room - turn off the ceiling fan and ACs as this will allow ALL of the room air to pass through the air purifier.And if you think this will remove all smell from your room, no it won't. Because the carbon filter is bad. If you upgrade, it'll be much better. But it can still get saturated quickly, so don't throw unnecessary smoke and gases at it.For an air purifier under 10k, this is amazing and this is all you need. Don't fall for marketing gimmicks by Dyson and others. Even Sharp's other air purifiers have the same technology but are unnecessarily expensive.

I will start by saying that for the features it packs, this product is a tad expensive. However in 2 days of usage I have come to like it.Positives:1. Removes bad smell and odour within 15-20 minutes of operation. Thumbs up to plasmacluster technology.2. The purifier doesn't make much noise. Right on top of device it makes 80 db on top speed. A foot away to any direction the noise drops below 50db.3. Very simple menu and options to operate. Elderly, Kids or even domestic help with little or no education can operate it with ease.4. Beautifully designed and looks cool.Negatives:1. No numeric pm level display. Cheaper products have this feature.2. No smart phone connectivity/control.3. No FILTER END-OF-LIFE indicator - which by far is the biggest downside of this product.4. Replacement filter listing online looks expensive. Others are selling similar replacement filters at much lower cost.Although the negatives outweigh positives in general, however I can't ignore the quality of air difference after switching the purifier on.This seems to be the cheapest home air purifier from Sharp. Yet they have plasmacluster technology built into the product, which makes a huge difference.I love the product... Yet giving a 3 star because of the Negatives. If the replacement filter was below 3000 mark, I had given this a 4.5/5.

We have a dog and it has definitely removed the smell from the house. Silent sleep mode at night. But the indicator always shows as green, never red or orange.

Purifier PCB caught fire and manufacturer refuses to take responsibility. Even if it’s out of warranty this electronic had potential to burn my house and potentially harm people. Would not recommend anyone to buy this.
