Great starter printer for total newbies.
Bought as a present for my 11 YO son. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the print for an inexpensive printer. Setup was straightforward but a little time consuming. The one challenge was figuring out leveling, but once we got it it was not that hard. TIP: when leveling, you may need to adjust the position of the z-axis stop sensor. There are plenty of videos on leveling on YouTube. I found the ones with English speaking reviewers more helpful than the ones from the manufacturer. The instructions, like for a lot of things, were clearly translated by someone for whom English is not a first language, and thus leave a little to be desired. But overall, as shown in the example picture, the printer does pretty darn good. The sample was from a free model we downloaded from the web, and it was printed using all the default settings of the printer and slicer.

Voxelab Aquila S3
Hey everyone, I never leave reviews for products but I feel like people need to know a few things before buying this 3D printer. The instructions provided in the box, are not actually for this machine. They're for a similar model that is assembled in a different order. During setup I had to take it all apart 3 times because certain parts later on MUST be attached first due to things like screw holes, other parts covering ends and etc. I also tried going to the Voxelab youtube channel for assistance and again, videos labeled for this machine, are not correct. Nothing is labeled in the box. Unless you know thread types and screw sizes well, you will have a difficult time and do a fair amount of trial and error to find the correct screws for the correct pieces. The auto leveling feature only kind of works. It gets you in the ballpark and then you need to tune it to the actual correct spot. Do not try to print without tuning, it will not function correctly. There is no network cable included and the USB port on the machine is an outdated type. You may get lucky and have an old phone cable around that fits but newer USB C types or thunderbolt types are not compatible. It does come with a micro SD card and USB converter. It's been fairly annoying having to go back and fourth constantly between computer and printer with my files but it does function correctly. The arm that is intended to hold the spool needs to be placed in a different area, otherwise the Z-axis will crash into it or it will jam with standard sized PLA spools. I changed mine to be attached horizontally and it's feeding without jamming and no longer interferes with the Z-axis.The display that comes with the machine is not what is shown in the pictures or in their Youtube videos. The bracket attaches differently and it screws on through un-threaded plastic holes, it is not on a clip system. The slicer software provided (VoxelMaker) is very rough around the edges and very simple. It seems to have most of the functions required but a huge draw back, there is no measuring system. You can only scale axis' as a whole. The system is Metric only. (Metric does seem to be the standard but having the option for Imperial would really be nice.)There is no support. Contacting the company is just a void. No responses through any medium of communication.Overall, I'd say this is about an $80 printer.

Great product.
Works great; assembly wasn't too difficult or time-consuming. Only issue that I've found is that the extruder does occasionally jam up, and that it takes a good amount of time and effort to get unjammed. Another thing to think about is that it takes a lot of time to get the hang of, and personally, it makes me pretty mad when I come back after an hour of waiting and realize that I had the settings messed up and there was a lot of underextrusion.

Not even a week
The media could not be loaded. I haven’t had this printer a week and it already broke 2 times. The first thing that was broken was the nozzle that comes on it clogged super fast. So I tried to switch it out it was so tight that I bent the retaining screws and stripped them out of the aluminum block it’s screwed tooThe second thing is after 3 hours of trying to get them fixed and finally putting it all back together.I went to do a print and it worked then when I was adjusting the Z offset the whole thing took a crap and the screen doesn’t work now.(Update) the issue was the heat sensor wire grounded out and was causing issues I found this myself after waiting for customer service 2 days.

Ideal Starter printer
Package arrived on time and safe. Printer was easy to assemble, and functioned better than imagined right out the box. Very affordable and perfect for beginners already familiar with printing on a small scale and ready to sharpen skills.

Would not recommend this 3D printer!
This printer was Awful and stopped printing anything! We were only able to print two small things before it stopped printing correctly and eventually died. I worked with tech support for a couple months and they sent some replacement parts that got the unit to at least start up again but didn’t fix the printing issue. They then sent me another printer (that was a returned unit that was faulty, and had not been fixed) and I switched out the final part (the extruder head) and the printer still wouldn’t print. I ended up just having to buy a different 3D printer as my son spent all his savings to buy this one.

Quit working after 2 months
Seemed like a decent printer but then the temp starting messing up and the control screen would freeze up. Now the temp is stuck at -1. Voxelab won't answer my e-mails.
