I found Desmoxan slightly more effective than Tabex to keep the cravings at bay, and obviously less expensive and easier to access (there is apparently a shortage of brand name Tabex right now). Box is in the Polish language and is manufactured and distributed from Poland, however this version of cytisinum does not bother my stomach like Tabex did.I find cytisine, generally, to be the only nicotine cessation medication that consistently works. Nicotine patches are "hit or miss" (whether the slow-release sufficiently relieves cravings, whether the patch even stays on, etc.) and the Nicorette mini-lozenges are addictive as hell, and Walmart's (and Target's) house brands are low quality and dissolve way too quickly and feel underdosed.

This has helped me quit twice! I recommend it to all my smoker friends. It makes all of the physical withdrawal symptoms simply disappear. You have to break the mental habit yourself but this makes it possible to quit. I am so grateful for this product
