Bought this after breaking a plastic device meant for removing watch band links. I had managed the last time to do the job with pliers, a sharp nail and a bit of profanity if I’m being honest. Just took another crack at adjusting this band with my new kit. This kit has EVERYTHING! Replacement pieces for the wear items. Still a little tricky getting the pin into place, even with the fancy tool. This is one of the rare occasions when I am really impressed with the quality and thoughtfulness of the design. I highly recommend this product if you occasionally- or often - find yourself adjusting a watch band.

Comes with everything you need ☺️ Keep in mind, the extra pins won't fit in a small-parts watch like a seiko! It comes with instructions too!

It was as described and delivery was better than promised. For my use, I needed additional tools, which I purchased. No problem with the vender. I had several watches I was working on, replacing batteries, new bands, adjusting length, and I bought several other tools, which made the job easier than using this tool set alone, but it was used in with most of the operations. Good buy and worth the money.

A pin broke on my metal watch strap. A jeweler will charge $10-$15 to put a new pin in. This complete kit is very modestly priced and contains dozens of metal watch strap repair items and the tools for repairing the strap yourself. Excellent value for money.

This kit had everything I needed to remove and replace watch links easily. The link remover tool worked well, and the extra tips were useful in case one got worn out. The small hammer made it easier to tap out stubborn pins without damaging the band.The spring bar tool was strong and made switching bands quick and simple. The cotter pins were a nice addition for replacements. Everything felt sturdy and well-made. If you want a full set to adjust watch bands at home, this kit gets the job done.

Great kit with a good amount of extra pieces. Compared to a kit bought at a big box store, which most pieces broke, this is a great value and good quality. Was able to resize bracelets on 4 new watches in less than 15 minutes.

I read another reviewer suggest that you're better off buying a higher quality tool set for this job and I agree, but the challenge is that the Amazon marketplace seems only to carry this quality, albeit in various permutations that include or exclude components. Since I couldn't find anything that looked appreciably better, I purchased this one and was able to make it work.On the upside: The band holder block works passably and the kit contained the proper size pin punch that let me drive/reinstall my band pins.On the downside:1) the band holder is just an echo of all the others I saw on Amazon, which only includes one row with larger gaps for the thicker band I was working with. It would be better if this block would include a second, larger-gapped row to help hold the other side of the bracelet to keep it supported at the same height and aligned--it's awkward to do this while also holding a small pin in one hand and the hammer in the other.2) The solder or epoxy or whatever that was holding the hammer head on the handle was loose so the head just spins on the handle. I was able to make it work, but again: low quality.3) The replacement pins provided look more like a cotter or split pin, which is different than what is used in my watch band or any that I've ever seen. Thankfully, I was removing links and could reuse the ones from my bracelet.4) My band had a tiny bushing around the pins that would have been easy to loose (I almost did). That would be a useful addition to this kit.5) The other reviewers' comments that the pin pusher vise are correct in that there's not enough adjustment available in the base to support the band elements properly. I didn't use the tool because of this.It's interesting to me that seemingly all of the watch band tool sets on Amazon look the same...like exactly the same. They must all come off of the same line or are copies of the same design. This is unfortunate since there are glaring limitations inherent in the design that could be improved with a little diversity of thought and manufacturing.In the end you can make this work; it's better than nothing and it's cheap. That said, I would have gladly paid more for a better set if I could find it readily.

Made working on a watch so easy!! Needed to shorten the wrist ban and this made it very easy to remove two links. Highly recommend it!!
