Works like a charm
When we got this in the post, I have to admit we did kinda smirk, thinking we'd bought a piece of rubbish. But honestly, it works like a charm. Hubby purchased the expending pole, popped this bad boy one and off he went, cleaning out our gutters. Now, I live in a super tiny bungalow so we basically have 2 gutters in total, 1 that runs along the front of the property and 1 on the back. This was so easy to use. It fit perfectly along our gutters and work surprisingly well. We thought that because it was so light that it might not work for long. But so far we've been very happy with it. Great quality and works really well. It's probably a bit expensive for all it is particularly as you need to buy a pole. But it works great and we're going it will continue to work for many years to come.

It’s a bit small
I do hope it fits the poll I bought.I’ll follow up a review when it’s put together!?!It worked in a fashion, the gutter cleared but got stuck on the gutter brackets a few times getting used to it.I managed to put a small camera on the top of the pole and it was Wi-Fi’d to my phone, I could see the problems ahead of me to relieve the soil and wet leaves that had accumulated in the gutter and down the down pipe. Strange thing happened was a lot of my neighbours came across to ask me to do theirs. My house is three stories high, so gutter cleaners who usually clean out the gutters in my area charge £140 per house. I charged my neighbours £30 and got 10 houses done in a day.. a cool £300 .. that paid me back plus a good drink.. there seems to be a new venture for some people!??

Well designed tool that does the job
Had an issue with blocked gutters after birds picked moss off the roof which rolled down and blocked up the gutters causing water to spill over and down the front of the house when it rained heavily. Tried in vain to get someone out to clear them and in desperation searched Amazon for something that might help sort the issue. This little gadget worked like a dream. I attached it to a 2.5m extendible pole and with nothing more than stepladders to get a bit of extra height I was able to reach the gutters with ease (my house is two storey). It fitted easily and securely to the pole then I just adjusted the angle and pushed it along the length of the gutter scooping out the moss and muck as I went. Gutters now completely clear and no more danger of overspilling when it rains heavily. Fantastic tool, did a great and undoubtedly saved me a lot of money that I would have had to pay a contractor. Absolutely delighted and would highly recommend.

Sort of works
This tool is only really going to be of benefit if you can actually see what you are doing. If you are intending to pole mount it and then try and clean a gutter that is 20 or 30 feet up whilst you remain on the ground then it isn't particularly useful. It can be used to sort of run along the gutter but it is difficult to gauge if it is properly seated or just running along the top of any debris in there. I think it would be more effective if you can clearly see the area you are hoping to clear.Made of a tough plastic that does not seem to scratch easily and has a nice thickness to it.

Great tool - works both directions
On first glance one might think the design is too narrow and small. However, once using it, you’ll understand why it’s designed that way - a) it has to be compact enough to get into the gutter b) if the spade part is too long it’s hard to manoeuvre and could make it loosen from the screw thread. In my view the design is fit for purpose. I used it with a DocaPole purchased at same time. It’s took me about 10-15 minutes to clear a 7 meter top floor gutter on a modern detached house. I put down tarpauline to catch any moss that spewed over. I swept from one side to the other 5-6 times and all in all it did the job nicely. Contrary to one of the reviews, you can actually go left to right or right to left, all you need to do it pivot angle the spade to the other side of the pole, then rotate 180 degrees, you can then go opposite direction. Great product.

Excellent gutter clearing product if you have an extendable painters pole
This gutter clearing tool is made of solid plastic which is rigid & strong & screws onto my painters pole which has 3x extension sections so I can reach to about 20 metres. It has a screw in clamp which allows the scoop angle to be adjusted & it can be changed to face the left or right side of the pole so you can sweep the pole & scoop in the gutter to the left or right. I have used it to clear moss & leaf debris from my daughter's & my own house gutters & it's done a good job. It's good value for money & I would recommend it especially it you already have a painters pole.

works great but a bit pricey
Works well and easy to use, a bit pricey but it is very sturdy and you can alter the angles, pleased I bought it.

Too small and requires the hands of a surgeon to use successfully.
This tool is only useful when it’s used correctly. It cannot break up old debris in a gutter at all, the main issue is the bottom is round and not flat so only a small part of the tool touches the gutter surface. So you can’t lever up any of the debris from the surface. It needs a flat bottom on the scoop with a small flat extension, say about 50mm.It’s also way too small to collect dead leaves.Below is how I did it.You first have to use another scraper type tool with a flat profile to “break up” the plant debris to free it from the gutter surface - and get it under the debris to loosen it by constantly twisting your pole. THEN you can use this scoop to pick up the loosened debris in small lumps. If you don’t do this it will pick nothing up at all. However because you can’t see anything it’s difficult to use successfully. It fits well into a gutter that has a roof tile overhang but once it’s in there it can’t do anything useful - unless you prep as detailed above. It’s much faster to just use a scraper and then “flick” out the debris. It’s a no from me.
