New PROGUTTER Half Round Gutter Cleaning Scraper

This is a great, sturdy and usefull tool for clearing 1/2 round gutters. It attaches to a standard decorators extension pole using a screw thread. Can be attached both left and right hand to work in both directions.

Used the ProGutter 3603 with my DocaPole extension Pole to clear the gutter at the roofline. It did remove quite a lot of material but even after several attempts still failed to stop the Gutter overflowing. To be fair the Gutter has not been cleared for sometime so it probably needs to cleared using ladders etc to reach the gutter (the height makes it difficult to see what actually needs to done using the extension pole from the ground)

Cleaning gutters is one of my least favourite chores, but this tool definitely makes it a lot easier.It's just the scraper attachment, so you'll need a pole. It has a standard screw thread, so I got the Harris 5m Premier Extension Pole (available here) which worked great.To use it, I put my ladder in the middle of the roof. I could then scrape the gutters in one direction, pulling the debris towards me, and then turn to other side and do the same. No need to move the ladder - I could do the whole gutter from one position (unless you have a really big roof!)The scraper fits perfectly in the gutter so it's quite efficient. You'll need to screw it on the right way to scrape to either your left or your right, otherwise you'll find it doesn't fit, but it only takes seconds to unscrew it, turn it over and screw it on the other way. This will make more sense when you first use it.Overall - a good design, sturdy and strong.

Okay to a point, but reverted back to using my hand on our gutters. Would i buy again, no.

Great product but may be a difficult to use in certain size gutter otherwise did what it is designed for

Simple idea that works well. No more stretching

Very, very impressed with this angled tool.We affixed it to a long pole to be able to work on clearing the gutters on a standard 1905 terraced house. Obviously, the height means you can't actually see what you are doing and you certainly can't run it along in the channel of the guttering as seems to be intended. What it does do is provide a sort of prybar effect to really stubborn blockages without damaging the guttering itself.Very thick and sturdy and even after helping to dig some reed type grasses out of the guttering junction between us and next door it isn't chipped or noticeably marked.Fixing it to the pole was tricky as you need to make sure you have it angled best for both your own dexterity and the shape of the guttering. How difficult this actually is really depends on the pole more than the device itself.
